A collapsible piece of furniture comprising: a circumferential upper support frame ( 2 ) that surrounds a central axis and a plurality of support legs ( 40 ), each comprising a lower section ( 41 ) which is designed to stand on the floor surface and an upper portion ( 42 ), the lower section ( 41 ) in a vertical direction parallel to the central axis, characterized by: a plurality of engagement elements ( 3 ) attached to the upper support frame ( 2 ) and are angularly offset from one another, each of the engagement elements ( 3 ) upper and lower sections ( 34 . 35 ) facing each other in the vertical direction and to the upper support frame ( 2 ) are located adjacent to or distant from it; a variety of coupling pieces ( 5 ), each on the upper sections ( 42 ) the support legs ( 40 ) are attached, each of the coupling pieces ( 5 ) distant and adjacent sections ( 54 . 55 ) which face each other in the vertical direction and to the upper portion ( 42 ) are located away from or adjacent to it; a plurality of joints, each of which is provided around the lower section ( 35 ) with the adjacent section ( 55 ) in such a way that the neighboring section ( 55 ) relative to the lower section ( 35 ) is rotatable about a pivot axis that is transverse to the central axis, between a vertical position, where both a corresponding one of the coupling pieces ( 5 ) as well as a corresponding one of the engagement elements ( 3 ) are oriented in the vertical direction around the lower section ( 41 ) on the floor surface and a folded position where the corresponding one of the coupling pieces ( 5 ) relative to the corresponding one of the engagement elements ( 3 ) is inclined around the lower section ( 41 ) in the vicinity of the central axis and in such a way that the neighboring section ( 55 ) relative to the lower section ( 35 ) is movable in the vertical direction between upper and lower positions; a plurality of locking elements, which are each provided to the adjacent section ( 55 ) to lock the adjacent section ( 55 ) relative to the lower section ( 35 ) to prevent the swivel axis when the adjacent section ( 55 ) is in the upper position and around the adjacent section ( 55 ) to rotate the adjacent section ( 55 ) to allow the pivot axis to the collapsed position when the adjacent section ( 55 ) is in the lower position; and a variety of pre-tensioning elements ( 7 ), which are each provided to the adjacent section ( 55 ) in the direction of the upper position.

Collapsible piece of furniture according to claim 1, characterized in that the distal section ( 54 } from each of the coupling pieces ( 5 ) has an upper edge which faces upwards, each of the locking elements comprising a recess unit ( 521 ) which is formed in the upper edge and which is in the vertical direction towards the adjacent section ( 55 ) and a bolt ( 31 ), which of the upper section ( 34 ) runs in a transverse direction relative to the vertical direction and which is configured to in the recess unit ( 521 ) to be held back when the adjacent section ( 55 ) is in the upper position and to move out of the recess unit ( 521 ) to be removed when the adjacent section ( 55 ) to the lower position against a biasing action of a corresponding one of the biasing elements ( 7 ) is moved.

Collapsible piece of furniture according to claim 2, characterized in that each of the joints has a slot groove ( 522 ), which in the adjacent section ( 55 ) formed in the vertical direction and having upper and lower ends ( 524 . 525 ), and a pen ( 6 ) which of the lower section ( 35 ) runs in the transverse direction to form the pivot axis, which runs along the slot groove ( 522 ) is movable and which at the upper and lower ends ( 524 . 525 ) if the neighboring section ( 55 ) is in the lower or upper positions.

Collapsible piece of furniture according to claim 3, characterized in that each of the coupling pieces ( 5 ) includes a pair of side panels ( 52 ) which are spaced apart from one another in the transverse direction and which have upper edge walls which are in alignment with one another to serve as the upper edge, and a connecting plate ( 51 ) which the side plates ( 52 ) joined together in a one piece construction to define a receiving space therebetween, the lower portion ( 35 ) of each of the engaging elements ( 3 ) is recorded in the recording room.

Collapsible piece of furniture according to claim 4, characterized in that the recess unit ( 521 ) a pair of recesses ( 521 ) which, in the upper edge walls of the side plates ( 52 ) and which are aligned with one another in the transverse direction, the bolt ( 31 ) two bolt ends ( 311 ) which are opposite to each other in the transverse direction and which are designed to in each case in the recesses ( 521 ) to be held back; where the slot groove ( 522 ) a pair of elongated holes ( 522 ), which in each case in the side plates ( 52 ) and which extend in the vertical direction, the pin ( 6 ) two donor ends ( 61 ) which are opposite to each other in the transverse direction and which each pass through the elongated holes ( 522 ) run to each along the elongated holes ( 522 ) to be agile.

Collapsible piece of furniture according to claim 5, characterized in that each of the bolt ends ( 311 ) has a circular cross section, each of the recesses ( 521 ) has a depth in the vertical direction which is greater than the radius of the cross section of the transom ends ( 311 ) and which is smaller than the diameter of the cross-section of the transom ends ( 311 ) is.

Collapsible piece of furniture according to claim 3, characterized in that each of the biasing elements ( 7 ) is a coil spring that has two ends ( 71 . 72 ) which are opposite to each other in the vertical direction and which are on the upper portion ( 34 ) or the neighboring section ( 55 ) are attached to the recess unit ( 521 ) to bias the bolt ( 31 ) to recieve.

Collapsible piece of furniture according to claim 1, characterized in that the lower sections ( 41 ) of the two neighboring legs ( 40 ) are connected to one another to allow simultaneous movement of the adjacent sections ( 55 ) of the two corresponding coupling pieces ( 5 ) relative to the two corresponding one of the engagement elements ( 3 ) to the lower position.
