Representation palette

The innovation concerns a representation pallet consisting of a closed-surface pallet surface or a pallet surface formed from individual strips spaced apart from one another, under which at least two support beams are arranged.

Pallets of the type mentioned are sufficiently well known and in use, so that no special written proof is required in this regard, which in any case cannot be provided. Also well known are pallets of this kind, which are usually made of wood but can also be made of plastic, for example, which are used to hold several similar objects in order to be able to transport them more easily. Such transport is usually carried out using so-called forklifts, regardless of whether they are to be loaded onto a truck, moved on site or placed on shelves or removed from them. In supermarkets, such pallets are also used as representation and offer pallets by placing them with stacked packaging goods in a suitable place so that the buyer can access them, usually with packaging goods that consist of individual packages that are identical in shape and size.

As practical as such pallets may be, they have the disadvantage that the stacked individual packages are stored unsecured on the pallet surface for transport purposes and that the stacked packages can be damaged when removed by

Buyers can at least move the remaining packs, which would at least impair the desired proper representation.

The innovation is therefore based on the task of improving a pallet of the type mentioned at the beginning in a simple way so that the stacked packages are better held during transport, that the pallet design alone ensures that the remaining individual packages largely retain their stacking order or can be easily brought back into it despite good access, and that the packaging to be stacked can deviate within limits in terms of its format and in the top view format from part of the pallet surface.

This object is achieved with a pallet of the type mentioned at the outset according to the innovation in that a rear wall is arranged perpendicular to the pallet surface on one side and this is supported by at least one supporting wall which defines two vertical compartments open to the front and to the side above the pallet surface.

The pallet surface is divided by the supporting wall and, since the vertical compartments defined by the supporting wall above the pallet surface are open to the front and to the side, the packages to be stacked can, to a limited extent, be larger in plan cross-section than the resulting partial areas of the pallet surface.

Advantageous further training consists of the following:
In order to ensure sufficient stacking volume, the height of both walls corresponds to at least one longitudinal or transverse extension of the pallet surface.

Furthermore, the supporting wall is arranged centrally to the pallet surface and the rear wall, which will be explained in more detail below.
On the rear and supporting walls there is a covering and storage area which is essentially the same size as the pallet area, which on the one hand contributes to the stability of the pallet structure and on the other hand offers the possibility of placing the objects contained in the stacked individual packages, e.g. umbrella stands or whatever, unpacked on the storage area as a visual sample, for example if the objects only differ in their colour, in such a way that the buyer can find the desired colour of an object in the stack of packaging which is located under the relevant sample on the pallet.

In order to be able to move such a loaded pallet more easily to the desired location on site or to move it at any time, the support beams of the pallet surface are equipped with castors.

The novel range and advantageous further developments are explained in more detail below using drawings of exemplary embodiments.

The novel representation pallet is based on a conventional pallet, which consists of a closed-surface pallet surface 1 (see Fig. 1) or of individual strips I ¹ spaced apart from one another (see Fig. 2), under which at least two support beams 2 are arranged.

For such a representation pallet, with reference to Fig. 1, which already shows the preferred embodiment, it is essential that a rear wall 3 is arranged perpendicular to the pallet surface 1 on one side and that this is supported by at least one supporting wall 4 which defines two vertical compartments VG above the pallet surface 1 which are open to the front and to the side.

The height H of both walls 3,4 preferably corresponds to at least one longitudinal or transverse extension L of the pallet surface 1.

In the preferred embodiment according to Fig. 1, the support wall 4 is arranged centrally to the pallet surface 1 and the rear wall 3, but this is not mandatory, i.e. the support wall 4 can also be arranged slightly off-center if adaptation to two different packaging formats is intended from the outset.

In the embodiment according to Fig.2, the storage area 5' is set somewhat lower in relation to the upper edges 3', 4' of the walls 3, 4, which creates stops for samples of the packaging contents to be placed on top. Fig.2 also illustrates the possibility, as indicated there in dash-dotted lines, of being able to arrange intermediate floors 10 in the two vertical compartments GV in order to clearly accommodate, for example, four different packaging formats.

As can be seen from Figs. 1 to 4, the support beams 2 of the pallet surface 1 are directed perpendicularly against the extension plane E of the rear wall 3, which means that the pallet can be driven under or grasped with the fork of a forklift truck in this direction, which is most conveniently done from the open side of the vertical compartments VG, so that stacked packages P cannot fall out in the direction of travel during transport under unfavorable circumstances.

Furthermore, fastening elements 7 for a net covering 8 are arranged on the side edges 6 of the pallet surface 1 and the covering and storage surface 5, which are only indicated at certain points and which are

Furthermore, the lower edge region 9 of the rear wall 3 is expediently arranged or the rear wall is dimensioned in such a way that the corresponding end faces of the support beams 2 are covered, whereby the fixing of the rear wall 3 to the actual pallet can be made more stable.

Not specifically shown, as it is easily conceivable, is the possibility of connecting the rear wall 3, the at least one supporting wall 4, the cover and storage area 5 and the pallet area 1 to one another using detachable connecting fittings, whereby the entire pallet can be dismantled and thus transported in a space-saving manner. Such connecting fittings are commercially available in a wide variety of designs from the furniture sector.

In order to be able to easily move such a representation pallet on site, whether empty or filled, to the desired location or to be able to move it, the support beams 2 of the pallet surface 1 are provided with castors 11, as shown in Fig.3.

Claims (11)

Representation pallet, consisting of a pallet surface ( 1 ) with a closed surface or formed from individual strips spaced apart from one another, under which at least two support beams ( 2 ) are arranged, characterized in that a rear wall ( 3 ) is arranged on one side perpendicular to the pallet surface ( 1 ) and this is supported by at least one supporting wall ( 4 ) which defines two vertical compartments (VG) open to the front and to the side above the pallet surface ( 1 ). 2. Pallet according to claim 1, characterized in that the height (H) of both walls ( 3 , 4 ) corresponds to at least one longitudinal or transverse extension (L) of the pallet surface ( 1 ). 3. Pallet according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the supporting wall ( 4 ) is arranged centrally to the pallet surface ( 1 ) and to the rear wall ( 3 ). 4. Pallet according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that a covering and storage surface ( 5 ) corresponding in size substantially to the pallet surface ( 1 ) is arranged on the rear wall and the at least one supporting wall ( 3 , 4 ). 5. Pallet according to one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in that storage areas ( 5 ') are arranged below the upper edge ( 3 ') of the rear wall ( 3 ) and the upper edge ( 4 ') of the supporting wall ( 4 ). 6. Pallets according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the support beams ( 2 ) of the pallet surface ( 1 ) are directed perpendicularly against the extension plane (E) of the rear wall ( 3 ). 7. Pallet according to claim 4 or 6, characterized in that fastening elements ( 7 ) for a net covering ( 8 ) are arranged on the side edges ( 6 ) of the pallet surface ( 1 ) and the covering and storage surface ( 5 ). 8. Pallet according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the lower edge region ( 9 ) of the rear wall ( 3 ) covers the end faces of the support beams ( 2 ). 9. Pallet according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the rear wall ( 3 ), the at least one supporting wall ( 4 ), the covering and storage surface ( 5 ) and the pallet surface ( 1 ) are connected to one another by detachable connecting fittings. 10. Pallet according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that at least one horizontal intermediate floor ( 10 ) is arranged in each of the vertical compartments (VG). 11. Pallet according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the support beams ( 2 ) of the pallet surface ( 1 ) are provided with castors ( 11 ).
