Description
Bislang wurden bei solarangetriebenen Fahrzeugen die kaum Ähnlichkeiten mit einem herkömmlichen Fahrrad haben, die Solarflächen fest bzw. auf bestmöglichen Einfallswinkel positioniert. Die Nachteile waren im Hinblick auf Handling und Dimensionen so offensichtlich, dass sich diese Fortbewegungsart als wenig alltagstauglich erwies und sich somit praktisch nicht auf dem Markt durchsetzen konnte. Fahrräder sind ein weltweit verbreitetes Verkehrsmittel, sind umweltgerecht und ohne Nebenkosten, aber sie sind im Allgemeinen nur durch reine Muskelkraft zu bewegen. Dies war der Ansatzpunkt für meine Überlegung. Die körperliche Leistung (Muskelkraft), gepaart mit Solarenergie ist eine umweltbewusste und doch bequemere Fortbewegungsart, ohne Nachteile im Handling und Funktion gegenüber eines herkömmlichen Fahrrades.Up to now, solar-powered vehicles, which bear little resemblance to a conventional bicycle, have had their solar panels fixed or positioned at the best possible angle of incidence. Die Kanten zwischen den Solarflächen sind durch ein verriegelbares, gerundetes Metallprofil mit eingelegtem Reflektor abgedeckt, was noch zum Schutz vor Beschädigungen der Solarflächen beiträgt.
