Scheinwerfer üblicher Art für Motorräder bestehen aus einem Reflektor und einer oder mehreren Glühbirnen, die in einem Gehäuse integriert sind. Diese Scheinwerfer haben sich ganz gut bis jetzt bewährt. Heutzutage gibt es noch eine interessante Variante. Die Meinung der Experten geht auseinander: Laut ADAC wird der Spritverbrauch erhöht. Die Lebensdauer der Leuchtdioden ist sehr lang. Sie sind erschütterungsunempfindlich und verbrauchen sehr wenig Energie. Diese Eigenschaften machen sie sehr vorteilhaft für eine Nutzung im Dauerbetrieb. Sie sind sehr gut und sehr weit sichtbar.
