DESCRIPTION

A device for collecting the remains of smoked cigarettes, which is integrated directly into a cigarette pack or in a separate device that can accommodate a cigarette pack.

It is well known that discarded cigarette butts cause considerable pollution in public places, particularly at railway stations, bus stops and on sidewalks.

This is where the invention aims to remedy the situation. The invention, as characterized in the claims, can solve this problem in a simple and inexpensive way.

The advantages achieved by the invention are essentially that public places can be kept clean with less effort for the institutions and at the same time an educational effect can be achieved for all age groups of smokers. The smoking bans that already exist today, for example at train stations, can thus be largely lifted.

The device can be used as a separate device to hold a cigarette box and the waste container, or it can be integrated into a cigarette box during manufacture. The invention is intended to encourage the cigarette industry to integrate _{a waste} container for cigarette _remains into every cigarette box, as shown in the drawing. ¹ : : ': *: ^: ". :.:. :·:· &Iacgr; J

In the accompanying drawing, the invention is explained in more detail using 4 figures and 8 reference numerals: Figure 1 shows a cigarette packet with a standard size, in which the waste container for smoked cigarette remains is attached to the back. Figure 2 shows the side view of a cigarette packet with the waste container attached to the back. Figure 3 shows the cigarette packet from above, with the container for cigarette remains (3) attached to the back, with two insertion openings (4) and the nipple for extinguishing the cigarette remains (5). Figure 4 shows the separate device made of solid material for holding a cigarette packet if it does not have a waste container in its design, with a container (cassette) that is open at the top and to the side; (6). A waste container open at the top, for holding smoked cigarette remains (7) A nipple for extinguishing smoked cigarette remains (5). The cassette (6) is dimensioned so that it can hold cigarette packets of different sizes.

The device made of solid material described in Figure 4 is only used if the cigarette packets do not have their own waste container according to Figures 1, 2 and 3.

When an empty cigarette pack is disposed of, the now full waste container is also disposed of.

Claims (2)

1. A device for collecting the remains of smoked cigarettes, which is integrated directly into a cigarette pack or in a separate device that can accommodate a cigarette pack. a) A cassette made of plastic or metal Fig. 4 with a container ( 6 ) open at the sides and at the top, for receiving a cigarette packet of various sizes. b) A waste container ( 7 ) for collecting smoked cigarette butts, which is open at the top and firmly connected to the cassette ( 6 ). c) A nipple ( 5 ) for extinguishing smoked cigarette butts before they are placed in the waste container ( 7 ). 2. Device according to claim 1, characterized in that the waste container ( 6 ) is firmly integrated in a cigarette box, Fig. 1, 2 and 3, and does not require a cassette made of other materials, as described under a).
