Aufgabe der Neuerung ist es, ein neuartiges Dekormaterial aufzuzeigen, welches vielseitig verwendbar ist. Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist ein Dekormaterial entsprechend dem Schutzanspruch 1 ausgebildet.The aim of the innovation is to demonstrate a new type of decorative material that can be used in many different ways. Das neuerungsgemäße Dekormaterial besteht aus Partikeln aus geschäumtem Glas (Schaumglas), die nach ihrer Herstellung unter Verwendung von Farbpigmenten und einem geeigneten Bindemittel (Kunststoff oder Kunstharz) gefärbt sind und dadurch auch eine UV-beständige Farbgebung aufweisen und für den Einsatz im Dekorbereich geeignet sind.The innovative decorative material consists of particles of foamed glass (foam glass) which, after their production, are coloured using colour pigments and a suitable binding agent (plastic or synthetic resin) and thus also have a UV-resistant colour and are suitable for use in the decorative sector.

Das neuerungsgemäße Dekormaterial ist schwimmfähig, da durch den hohen Porenanteil des Schaumglases das spezifische Gewicht des Dekormaterials deutlich unter dem spezifischen Gewicht von Wasser liegt. Beim Einfärben der Partikel wird weiterhin ein Großteil der Poren an der Partikeloberfläche durch das Bindemittel (z.B.
