Ring notebook with calendar

The present invention relates to a ring binder pocket calendar. Such personal organization aids are available in various sizes and formats. Calendars or pre-printed forms are usually inserted into a more or less decorative ring binder using a lever mechanism with four, six or eight rings. The calendars have one calendar day per page surface or two days of the week on two opposite pages or another division. These inserts fill up a ring binder very quickly and make it unwieldy.

So-called annual overviews with one row per day are clearer, but only small short notes can fit in them. A compromise is the calendar with one column per day, where the times are still shown in rows. Here the number of entries is sufficient, but as with all divisions, an overview over a longer period, for example over several weeks, is not possible without turning the pages. A ring binder with such a calendar is therefore to be improved with the present invention. The task is not only to record as many notes as possible on a weekly sheet, even in small and also in large ring binders, but also to present several weeks clearly in comparison without turning the pages.

According to the invention, this is achieved by arranging all the weekly papers in an endless row and folding them like a leporello into the ring binder, with a small cut being provided between a pair of holes.

This allows the weekly sheets to be unfolded next to or below each other in a clear manner without having to open the ring binder mechanism, thus making it difficult to organize the

The connection to the calendar system in the ring binder is maintained. However, the user is given an overview of a schedule of appointments or deadlines spanning several weeks, as well as notes and upcoming tasks, as a user is used to today, for example, from a so-called "spreadsheet" on the PC. Another advantage is that the ring binder content can be individually designed using a PC or compared with PC content.

Figure 1 shows an open ring binder 10 with six rings 12, into which pre-printed inserts of a calendar can be inserted using a special opening mechanism 14. In the example shown, a weekly sheet 16 with daily columns 18 from Monday to Sunday and appointment and time lines 20 from, for example, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. is opened as an appointment area. Below the appointment area there is a task area in which daily notes are recorded that do not represent an appointment. An organizational aid as described so far is known.

However, in order to have an overview of more than just the current week, the weekly paper 16 just opened according to Figure 1 is, according to the invention, part of a leporello-like folded package of a sequence of consecutive weekly papers 16, 36, 46, 56, etc. folded around fold lines 24. In Figure 2, for example, the current weekly paper 16 is at the top, the next weekly paper 36 follows in the middle, and the second weekly paper 46 remains stapled in the ring binder 10 at the bottom. Since the entire year with all weekly papers can be viewed, an arbitrarily "deep" overview of consecutive weekly papers can be viewed without turning the pages, according to Figure 3.

This is made possible by the fact that, according to Figure 4 and the detail in Figure 5, a fine cut 28 is pre-cut between two holes of a pair of holes 26, which enables the weekly sheets to be removed in a very simple manner without opening the ring binder mechanism 12, 14.

The folding lines 24 can be formed with a fine perforation. This allows you to tear off "finished" weekly sheets from the leporello package at the top and remove them.

If the width of the weekly sheet is greater than that of the ring binder 10, in order to accommodate more notes even in a small ring binder, folding lines 30 (Figure 1) can be provided.

Ring notebook with calendar with a weekly sheet division with columns for the days of the week and rows for appointments and tasks, characterized in that all weekly sheets ( 16 , 36 , 46 , 56 ) are arranged in an endless row and folded like a leporello in the ring binder ( 10 ), wherein a small cut ( 28 ) is provided between a pair of holes ( 26 ). 2. Ring notebook according to claim 1, characterized in that folding lines ( 24 ) with a fine perforation run between the weekly sheets ( 16 , 36 , 46 , 56 ). 3. Ring notebook according to claim 1, characterized in that folding lines ( 30 ) with a fine perforation run between the normal sheet width and a lateral overhang. 4. Ring notebook according to claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the lines for appointments ( 20 ) and tasks ( 22 ) are differentiated by color.
