a leg cushion ( 40 ) is arranged on a leg cushion support ( 4 ) which is arranged on both sides on a multi-arm lifting fitting ( 42 ) adjustable into a raised lying position and into a lowered position on a pull-out ( 43 ) with support wheels ( 41 ) from the seat cushion support frame ( 3 ) on a rail-guided basis, characterized in that the base frame ( 1 ) consists of a steel frame ( 10 ) which, in the sitting position, projects approximately ¾ of the depth of the seat cushion support frame ( 3 ) under this frame ( 3 ) and which rests on floor supports ( 11 ) between which a bed box ( 12 ) is arranged, and carries a backrest support frame ( 13 ) on the rear, to which the backrest ( 2 ) is pivotably connected forwards over the bed box ( 12 ) into the lying position, so that its rear reclining cushion ( 14 ) is at the same height as the seat cushion ( 30 ), and the steel frame ( 10 ) and the backrest support frame ( 13 ) carry detachable connections ( 15 , 16 ) for the side rest(s) ( 5 ).

2. Seating and reclining furniture according to claim 1, characterized in that the steel frame ( 10 ) consists of steel tube and its longitudinal beams ( 10A ) have a larger cross-section than its transverse beams ( 10B ), which rest on the floor supports ( 11 ) designed as squared timbers.

Seating-reclining furniture according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the seat cushion support frame ( 3 ) is slidably guided on the longitudinal beams (10A) by telescopic guides ( 33 ) and is formed from side boards and a cross piece ( 34 ) as well as a seat cushion support ( 32 ) and carries further telescopic guides ( 43 ) for the leg cushion extension ( 43 ) on the side boards.

4. Seating-reclining furniture according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the seat cushion support ( 32 ) is a slatted frame ( 32 A) which supports the seat cushion ( 30 ).

Seating-reclining furniture according to claim 3 or 4, characterized in that the side boards of the seat cushion support frame ( 3 ) have approximately the same height as the seat cushion ( 30 ) and the leg cushion ( 40 ) in its lower position together with the leg cushion support ( 4 ) and its extension ( 43 ) finds space between the said side boards and is closed off at the front by a panel ( 45 ) of approximately the same height.

6. Seating-reclining furniture according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the leg cushion support ( 4 ) consists of flat wooden strips with a plywood plate.

7. Seating-reclining furniture according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the seat cushion support frame ( 3 ) and the leg cushion extension ( 43 ) with its panel ( 45 ) have a ground clearance (BF) which corresponds to at least half the height of the panel ( 45 ).

Seating-reclining furniture according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the backrest ( 2 ) consists of a support plate which carries on the one hand a backrest cushion ( 20 ) and on the other hand a reclining cushion ( 14 ) and these cushions ( 14 , 20 ) enclose the free upper edge of the support plate.

9. Seating-reclining furniture according to claim 8, characterized in that the backrest cushion ( 20 ) has a supporting projection (20A) in the lower region, which extends behind the seat cushion ( 30 ) in the sitting position.

10. Seating-reclining furniture according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the backrest support frame ( 13 ) carries a backrest hinge ( 17 ) on its sides at the front and behind it carries a reinforcement ( 13 A) extending somewhat further to the side, which lies laterally flush with the steel frame ( 10 ) and carries the connections ( 16 ) on a fitting which serves to attach the side rest ( 5 ).

11. Seating and reclining furniture according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a seat supplementary part ( 52 ) is attached to the detachable connections ( 15 , 16 ).

12. Seating-reclining furniture according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the side rest(s) ( 5 ) and/or the seat supplementary part ( 52 ) has a foot ( 53 ) at least on the front side.

13. Seating-reclining furniture according to claim 11 or 13, characterized in that the seat supplementary part ( 52 ) corresponds in its front design to the seat cushion ( 30 ) and the panel ( 45 ).
