Bislang bekannte Werbeträger gibt es in verschiedensten Varianten. Dabei werden meist Werbeflächen in feste Rahmen- oder Tragekonstruktionen eingespannt, eingehängt oder eingeschoben. Diese Konstruktionen werden benötigt, um einem Werbeträger die nötige Stabilität zu geben, damit diese selbststehend verwendet werden können. Der gesamte Werbeträger einschließlich der bekannten Konstruktionen benötigt somit mehr visuelles als auch dreidimensionales Volumen im Raum als es die eigentliche genutzte Werbefläche tut. Desweiteren sind Faltdisplays bekannt, die diese Zusatzkonstruktionen nicht benötigen, da die Werbeflächen direkt auf festen Grundplatten befestigt sind. Diese Grundplatten werden in einem Winkel zueinander aufgestellt und sind somit ebenfalls selbststehend. Ihr Nachteil ist jedoch, daß aus ihnen keine homogen gebogene Form gebildet werden kann.There are a wide variety of advertising media known to date. 1.
