Daraufhin folgt eine Wand (8) aus Polypropylen oder ähnlichen Material, deren Aufgabe es ist den Kühl- (6) und den Isolierbereich (5) zu trennen. Innerhalb dieser Trennwand (8) findet sich der kühlende Bereich (6), der Platz bietet für eine bestimmte Anzahl einsetzbarer eingeschweißter flach quaderförmiger (oder sonstiger Formgebung) Trockeneisportionen (9). Diese Trockeneispakete (9) sind durch Abgrenzungen (10) genau fixiert, so das sie nicht verrutschen können. Die gesamte Truhenwand (4) bzw. der Deckel (1) werden nun nach innen zum Kühl- u. Gefrierraum (3) hin wieder durch eine Innenwand bestehend aus Polypropylen oder einem ähnlichen Material abgegrenzt. An den Seiten bzw.
