The invention relates to a work table with a table top on a frame.

Such work tables are known and available on the market in a wide variety of shapes and designs. These include, for example, normal office workstations or expanded table units known as communication workstations or dealer tables. The latter can be recognized by the fact that the work table has a wide variety of designs for accommodating communication devices or work equipment, such as processors, monitors, printers, etc. The special requirements placed on such communication workstations have led to them being tailored to the special needs of the

adapted to the needs of persons working in such workplaces.

A work table of the above-mentioned type is described, for example, in EP 0 226 862 A1.

The present invention is based on the object of facilitating access to a work tool, in particular to a processor, in such a work table.

To solve this problem, a rotating element is arranged underneath the table top, on which a working device is located.

If access to the drive of a PC is to be made possible, for example, it is sufficient to unscrew the work equipment using the rotating element. Once access has been achieved, the PC can be rotated back again so that it is protected inside a room or underneath the table top.

The rotating element preferably has a rotating shaft that extends vertically. In a simple embodiment of the invention, a plate can be arranged on the rotating element, for example to form a door. The PC itself is then secured to this plate. A support protruding from the plate on which the PC stands is a good option here. The fastening itself is then carried out using a belt and preferably using a quick-release fastener.

When the door is opened, the PC also swings out of its protected position into a room. Access to the PC is granted.

In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the rotating element is a separate bogie which is closed off at the front by sliding doors. A rotating element preferably has a plate to which the working equipment is attached.

If access to the work equipment is to be permitted, it is sufficient to open a sliding element and unscrew the work equipment on the rotating shaft. For example:

the working equipment can now remain in this position and the sliding element can be closed again as far as possible, so that the space that is actually supposed to be closed off by the sliding element is closed again except for the space occupied by the working equipment.

Preferably, at least one further sliding element is assigned to one sliding element so that, for example, despite the work equipment being swung out, the other part of the space (technical room) below the table top closed off by the sliding elements can also be opened.

Figure 1 shows a partially broken away work table according to the invention;

Figure 1 shows a table top 1 of a work table P. In the broken-away area it can be seen that there is a wall 2 under the table top 1, into which a door 3 is integrated. This door 3 hangs on a rotating shaft 4, which is arranged vertically. The door 3 can be pivoted out of the wall 2 around the rotating shaft 4.

A working device 5, for example a processor, is located on the door 3. It is secured to the door 3 with a belt 6, with corresponding holders 12 being provided for the belt 6.

In contrast to Figure 1, in the work table Pi shown there, the processor 5 is located on a separate rotating element 7. This rotating element 7 has a plate 8 which hangs on the rotating shaft 4.

In Figure 3 it can be seen that a support 9 protrudes from the plate 8, on which the working device 5 sits. It is held by the belt 6.

In front of the rotating element 7 there are three sliding elements 10.1, 10.2 and 10.3, which can be moved to open the access to the working equipment 5.

The operation of the present invention is as follows:

If the working device 5 is not used, the door 3 in the embodiment according to Figure 1 is in the closed position, as shown. In this case, the door 3 is integrated into the wall 2.

In the embodiment according to Figures 2 and 3, the sliding element 10.1 is closed and the three sliding elements together also form a wall.

If the working equipment is now required, for example to enable access to the drive 11 of the processor, in the embodiment according to Figure 1 the door 3 is pivoted about the rotary shaft 4 so that the processor 5 becomes accessible.

In the embodiment according to Figures 2 and 3, the sliding element 10.1 is moved to the right and the plate 8 is rotated together with the processor 5 about the rotary shaft 8 so that the processor reaches the position of use shown in Figure 3. Now the sliding element 10.1 can be moved back to the left so that an almost closed wall is created below the table top 1.

Claims (9)

1. Work table with a table top ( 1 ) on a frame, characterized in that a rotating element ( 4 , 3 , 7 ) is arranged below the table top ( 1 ), on which a working device ( 5 ) is located. 2. Work table according to claim 1, characterized in that the rotating element ( 7 ) has a rotating shaft ( 4 ) which extends vertically. 3. Work table according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the rotating element ( 7 ) has a support ( 9 ) for the working equipment ( 5 ). 4. Work table according to claim 3, characterized in that the support ( 9 ) is arranged on a plate ( 8 ) and this on the rotary shaft ( 4 ). 5. Work table according to at least one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the rotating element ( 7 ) has holders ( 12 ) for a fastening element ( 6 ) for the working equipment ( 5 ). 6. Work table according to claim 5, characterized in that the fastening element is a belt ( 6 ). 7. Work table according to at least one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the rotating element ( 7 ) is covered by a sliding element ( 10.1 ). 8. Work table according to claim 7, characterized in that at least three sliding elements ( 10.1 , 10.2 , 10.3 ) are assigned to the rotating element ( 7 ). 9. Work table according to at least one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the rotating element ( 3 , 4 ) forms a door to which the working equipment ( 5 ) is fixed.
