Gemäß Figur 1 der Zeichnung besitzt das dargestellte Ausführungsbeispiel einer Desinfektionswanne 1 einen rechteckigen Umriß, wobei die Wanne 1 im wesentlichen durch eine flüssigkeitsdichte und gegen die chemischen Wirkungen einer Desinfektionslösung resistente Kunststoffolie 2 gebildet ist. An den Längsseiten 12 und Querseiten 12' der Wanne 1 ist jeweils ein erhöhter Rand 20 ausgebildet, der hier durch einen Hohlsaum gebildet ist, wie später noch anhand der Figuren 2 und 3 im Detail erläutert wird.
