Das Condom ist mit einem Sicherungsring ausgestattet, der verhindert, daß das Condom während des Geschlechtsverkehrs verrutscht, sich zurückrollt oder ganz vom Penis löst. Unterstützt werden diese schlechten Eigenschaften durch starke Gleitmittel und natürlich durch einen kleinen oder nur schwach erigierten Penis. Auch ein stark erigierter Penis bietet keine Sicherheit dafür, daß das Condom dort verbleibt, wo es während des Geschlechtsverkehrs hingehört.
