Stacking racks of conventional design are usually made from one part or, if they consist of several parts, are not firmly connected to one another.

The invention specified in the protection claim is based on the problem of creating a

to create a simple, inexpensive to produce, universally usable stacking frame that is easily adjustable in height, is firmly connected (vertically and horizontally) and can easily be removed as a whole from a container (such as a refrigerator).

This problem is solved with the features listed in the protection claim.

The invention makes it possible to use a plastic injection mold to easily produce a part that can be used to assemble a complete series of stacking racks of different heights. The racks can be easily and firmly put together. The hooks on the upper edge engage firmly in the corresponding openings on the lower edge of the next level and fix the parts horizontally and vertically. Despite the low material thickness and without the use of additional tools during assembly, a stable connection is created between the assembled parts.

The top is finished off with a lid, which is produced in the same injection mold. A carrying or removal handle can be added later.

The main part of the stacking system is the base frame. It consists of three side walls and a base. The sides and the base of the base frame have openings to the side and to the bottom. These openings are used to save material, improve ventilation and thus allow the stored material to adjust to the temperature more quickly. The base is cut out in a crescent shape at the front on the open side so that the box or frame can be removed more easily from the front. The base frame has protruding hooks on the upper edge of the side walls (Fig. 1a) and correspondingly large recesses on the lower edge of the side walls where they meet the floor (Fig. 1b) to accommodate the hooks.

Another base frame is placed on top of the lower base frame. The hooks on the upper edge of the lower base frame engage in the recesses in the upper base frame (Fig 2a) and connect the two platforms together (Fig 2b). In the vertical direction, the snapped hooks hold the two parts together (against upward or downward tension). In the horizontal direction, the hooks of the lower part snapped into the recess in the upper part prevent the base frames from moving sideways against each other (Fig 2b). The base frames are thus firmly connected to each other.
