Description
The invention relates to a ridge cover to protect roof tiles made of concrete or clay, but also a ridge made of plastic or glass, such as on conservatories or greenhouses, from environmental influences and their consequences, such as the growth of moss.
In general, copper is known for its good electrical conductivity and thermal conductivity as well as its resistance to corrosion and atmospheric influences. Furthermore, the non-ferrous metal copper is very easy to cold form, which makes it easier to process in the oven , and it retains its toughness and suppleness even at low temperatures.
For the reasons just mentioned, copper ridge covers with a shape that is tailored to the respective ridge are currently known, the upper surface of which has several sections of segmental ridges, and next to these collecting channels, a ridge section with a small number of holes has been attached to the sloping slopes on both sides. Between a copper base plate with its collecting channels and the perforated plate above it, a grid in the form of a sheet-pressed hose is inserted to improve water absorption. The two lower ends of the ridge cover are provided with an inwardly angled fold to clamp this ridge cover into the ridge tile.

The complex production of the upper cover plate and the resulting increased material consumption as well as the cost-intensive grid network are a disadvantage here.
Therefore, the invention aims to find a modified form of the ridge cover in order to
to eliminate the disadvantages mentioned above.
This task is carried out in conjunction with the general term
The object of the invention is achieved by the characterizing features of claim 1.
The ridge cover according to the invention for roof coverings made of concrete, clay, plastic or glass is preferably made of copper. The variable cross-section is generally made to match the shape of the ridge to be covered. It is possible to incorporate at least one edge segment as a collecting channel at the side of the base body and to adapt to the variable cross-section, or the base body can be made in an angled shape with at least one edge segment.
Hierbei sollte der Grad derThe perforated sheet itself must be applied all the way around the entire surface of the base body.
In order to make the ionization with the copper material even more effective despite the surrounding perforated sheet, the remaining area between the base body and the perforated sheet must be filled with a coarse-meshed copper fleece. The degree of

Cavity is to be filled with copper wool in the form of a fine-meshed fleece 3. The base body 1 with its edge segments 4 and the smaller collecting gutter 5 run consistently according to the shape of the roof ridge.
An inward-facing bevel represents the known clamp 6, in order to be able to insert this ridge covering into the individual roof ridge without any roofing work.
Figure 2 also shows the ridge covering according to the invention in its cross-section and its top view, but with several collecting channels 5 as edge segments 4 in the base body 1. These collecting channels 5 are also located in the upper third of the base body 1. A perforated sheet 2 is applied across the upper surface up to the end of the collecting channels 5 and preferably up to the lower end of the base body 1. The remaining free space between the base body 1 and the perforated sheet 2 compared to Figure 1 is also to be folded up with a copper wool 3. The cross-sectional profile of the base sheet 1, the perforated sheet 2 above it and the collecting channels 5 as edge segments 4 can be changed from one end to the other in accordance with the roof ridge. Analogous to the clamping 6 described in Figure 1, this clamping 6 can also be made with a type of clip mechanism below the base body 1 according to Figure 2.
