Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft ein System zur Rückgabe eines verlorenen Schlüssels bzw. eine Postkarte seine gesamte Adresse sowie die auf dem Schlüsselanhänger befindliche Codierung an die Schlüsselzentrale zu übersenden. Auf dem Schlüsselanhänger ist außerdem die Adresse der zuständigen Schlüsselzentrale vermerkt. Wird der Schlüssel verloren und anschließend aufgefunden, so kann er vom Finder unverpackt in den nächsten Briefkasten geworfen werden. Indem der Schlüsselanhänger mit der Adresse der Schlüsselzentrale vermerkt ist, kann die Post den Schlüsselanhänger sowie die daran befindlichen Schlüssel an die entsprechende Zentrale weiterleiten. Von der Schlüsselzentrale kann dann über die Codierung sowie die Identifizierungsdaten der Eigentümer ermittelt und der Schlüssel umgehend an den Besitzer zurückgeschickt werden. Dieses System hat jedoch aufgrund der vorherigen Übermittlung der Identifizierungsdaten vom Besitzer des Schlüsselanhängers an die Schlüsselzentrale mittels einer Postkarte erhebliche Nachteile. Das Versenden der Postkarte ist mit einer Gebühr in Höhe von DM 1,00 verbunden (bei Nachnahme für den Empfänger DM 1,10). Da die komplette Adresse, also Name, Vorname, Straße, Hausnummer, PLZ, Ort als auch die Codierung handschriftlich in die Postkarte eingetragen werden müssen, kann die Ausfüllung der Postkarte entsprechend fehlerhaft sein und damit zu einer ebenfalls fehlerhaften Datenerfassung bei der Schlüsselzentrale führen. Die per Postkarte ermittelten Daten sind in der Schlüsselzentrale in ein geeignetes System zu übernehmen. Diese Datenerfassung ist aufwendig, da sie manuell durchgeführt werden muß, wobei sich die Kosten der Datenerfassung pro Schlüsselanhänger auf ca. DM 0,60 belaufen. Nach der Datenerfassung schließt sich eine aufwendige Postkartenentsorgung an. Die bislang verwendete, mit diversen Nachteilen verbundene Postkarte zur Datenübermittlung wird demnach durch Mittel zur drahtlosen elektronischen Datenübermittlung ersetzt. Der Vorteil ist, das sämtliche oben genannte Probleme, die mit der Datenübermittlung per Postkarte verbunden sind, entfallen. Außerdem werden die Daten bereits als elektronische Informationen zur Verfügung gestellt, so daß diese nicht mehr manuell in eine Datenbank eingegeben werden müssen. Fehler bei der Datenübermittlung werden reduziert bzw. ausgeschlossen. Die Datenübermittlung kann in Bruchteilen von Sekunden erfolgen, so daß das System sofort voll funktionsfähig ist. Das System, insbesondere die Übermittlung der Daten ist mit wenigen Kosten verbunden. Eigentümer des Schlüsselanhängers muß lediglich noch die Daten zur Identifizierung, also seine Adresse sowie die Codierungsnummer in sein Handy oder seinen Computer eintippen. Demnach weist der Schlüsselanhänger eine Doppelfunktion auf, nämlich zum einen die Funktion der Rücksendung eines Schlüssels mit dem daran angeordneten Schlüsselanhänger sowie zum anderen eine effektive Werbung. Damit der Schlüsselanhänger von der Post sofort weitergeleitet werden kann, ist außerdem ein Info feld vorgesehen, das die Adresse der Schlüsselzentrale aufweist. System for returning a lost key or key ring ( 2 ) with a key fob ( 1 ) which is provided with a code ( 4 ) for identifying the owner of the key fob ( 1 ) by a key center ( 3 ), wherein identification data including the code ( 4 ) can be transmitted from the owner to the key center ( 3 ), characterized in that means for wireless electronic data transmission are provided for transmitting the identification data.

2. System according to claim 1, characterized in that the transmission of the identification data takes place via SMS (Short Message Service).

3. System according to one of claims 1 or 2, characterized in that the data for identification can be transmitted by SMS in the form of a continuous data block ( 5 ) or data set.

4. System according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the identification data can be entered into an electronic mailbox ( 6 ) of the key center ( 3 ).
