Die meisten derzeitig installierten Deckenstative bestehen aus einem Installationskopf mit einer Dreh- und einer Schwenkachse, zwei starren Tragearmen, die mittels Dreh- und Schwenkkopf so miteinander verbunden sind, daß die sich gegeneinader drehen und schwenken lassen, und als Abschluß eine Haltevorrichtung, die wiederum drehbar an dem Trdgearm angebracht ist. An dieser Haltevorrichtung kann ein Tableau oder ein Gerät oder eine weitere Haltevorrichtung montiert sein.
