Im Handel sind ständig große Geldmengen in Form von Münzen im Umlauf, diese müssen gezählt, verpackt und transportiert werden. Üblicherweise werden nach Kassenschluss die Münzen von Hand gezählt und in Rollenform in Papier eingewickelt. Das kostet Zeit und Fehler sind nicht auszuschließen. ( Fehlbeträge der Münzen, anderer Werte oder Währungen) Die Münzrollen werden später in der Bank / Sparkasse aus dem Papier gewickelt und nochmals maschinell gezählt und wiederum in Paper gewickelt. Da von außen nicht erkennbar ist, was sich tatsächlich in den Rollen befindet, steht auf jeder Rolle: ohne Gewähr, daher beim Empfang zu zählen. Es dürfte sehr selten vorkommen, dass ein Kunde tatsächlich dieser Aufforderung folge leistet, da sich ansonsten hinter ihm sehr bald eine große Menschenmenge ansammeln würde. Da der Inhalt des Münzbehälters von außen einsehbar ist, brauchen die Münzen in der Bank / Sparkasse etc. nicht noch mal gezählt und verpackt werden.
