Conventional built-in refrigerators usually have a door made of wood, plastic, metal or a combination of these and must be opened to check the contents, as no view is possible from the outside when the door is closed. This means that a refrigerator is often opened unnecessarily or for nothing. With the right "view" from the outside, these processes would not need to be repeated, in which expensive energy has to be wasted each time to bring the refrigerator back to the right temperature. In addition, this can cause important food to spoil more quickly.

Pure bottle/drinks refrigerators or freezers with insulated glass doors for commercial use/sales are well known. These have proven to be effective because the glass door can only be opened after the visible contents have been selected.

Unfortunately, these advantages have so far been missing from private refrigerators, especially built-in refrigerators.

The invention of the built-in refrigerator with an insulated glass door and variable privacy screen provides a solution to this problem by allowing this view to be made possible simultaneously in combination with a privacy screen that can be operated separately without opening the actual insulated glass door and can provide an unobstructed view of the contents if desired.

Such a refrigerator essentially consists of an insulated glass door (Fig. 1.1; 5.1; 6.1 and 7.1) with all-round edging and sealing profile/magnetic seal and a separate privacy door/decorative door (Fig. 1.2; 5.2; 6.2 and 7.2), which can be attached with common or separate hinges/fittings. The handle of the insulated glass door (Fig. 1.3) can be located anywhere - independently of that of the privacy door. The arrangement can also be such that the handle for the insulated glass door (Fig. 6.21) and the handle for the decorative door (Fig. 6.22) can be conveniently located close together. The same applies to the design as a recessed handle in the insulated glass door (Fig. 5.19 and Fig.

7,19) and as a recessed handle in the decorative door (Fig. 7,20). When the privacy door is opened, the interior lighting can be switched on automatically using a contact switch (Fig. 1,4) installed anywhere in the frame.

Alternatively, instead of a continuous insulating glass door, an insulating glass pane (Fig. 2.5A) can be integrated into a door frame/decorative frame (Fig. 2.5) and the privacy screen can consist of a decorative door (Fig. 2.6) attached to this frame by means of hinges (Fig. 2.7).

The privacy screen can also consist of a roller shutter (Fig. 3,8 and Fig. 4,8) with a recessed handle (Fig. 3,10 and 4,10), guide rails on both sides (Fig. 3,9 and Fig. 4,9), insertion slot and cover (Fig. 3,12 and Fig. 4,12), roller shutter box (Fig. 3,11 and Fig. 4, 11), its front panel (Fig. 3,13 and Fig. 4,13), roller shutter axis (Fig. 3,14 and Fig. 4,14) and the side guides/cheeks (Fig. 3,15 and Fig. 4,15) in the roller shutter box. Optionally, the privacy screen can also consist of a single or multi-part folding shutter.

The frame of the privacy door (Fig. 5,16) can be designed so wide that it can cover the edge of the insulating glass door (Fig. 1,1; Fig. 5,1; Fig. 6,1 and Fig. 7,1) and its recessed handle (Fig. 5,19 and Fig. 6,19), whereby the outside handle (Fig. 5,17) can additionally be provided with a locking button (Fig. 5,18) by which the insulating glass door can also be "taken along" when the privacy door is opened if desired.

Optionally, the insulating glass door/pane can also be made entirely or partially of tinted glass, or covered with all kinds of foil, or painted in different shapes and colors, or printed, or darkened in some other way (examples Fig. 8,23; Fig. 9,23 and Fig. 10,23).

The invention can also be applied analogously and expediently to non-built-in refrigerators/solo refrigerators of any type and size.

Claims (17)

1. Built-in refrigerator with insulating glass door and variable privacy screen, characterized in that it is essentially a built-in refrigerator which is designed to save energy in such a way that it can be dispensed with in many cases unnecessary opening, as its contents can be largely checked and "seen" from the outside through a transparent door ( Fig. 1.1; Fig. 5.1; Fig. 6.1 and Fig. 7.1) or pane ( Fig. 2.5A) - consisting predominantly of insulating glass - (e.g. for purchasing purposes), and this door therefore only needs to be opened for the actual removal of certain articles/products, and that this transparency/viewing option can be impaired or completely prevented as desired by means of additional privacy screens of various types. 2. Built-in refrigerator with insulating glass door and variable privacy protection according to claim 1, characterized in that the insulating glass door ( Fig. 1,1; Fig. 5,1; Fig. 6,1 and Fig. 7,1) can be provided at the edge with a surrounding border made of metal/aluminium, plastic, rubber and other material, or a combination thereof and an integrated magnetic seal, as well as with a handle attached at a suitable location ( Fig. 1,3). 3. Built-in refrigerator with insulating glass door and variable privacy screen according to claim 1 and 2, characterized in that the privacy screen can consist of a separate privacy screen door/decorative door ( Fig. 1,2; Fig. 5,2; Fig. 6,2 and Fig. 7,2). 4. Built-in refrigerator with insulating glass door and variable privacy screen according to claims 1 to 3, characterized in that the insulating glass pane ( Fig. 2,5A) can be integrated into a door frame/decorative frame ( Fig. 2,5) and the privacy screen can be in the form of a decorative door ( Fig. 2,6) attached to this frame by means of hinges (Fig . 2,7). 5. Built-in refrigerator with insulating glass door and variable privacy screen according to claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the privacy screen can consist of a roller shutter ( Fig. 3,8 and Fig. 4,8) which is guided in guide rails on both sides ( Fig. 3,9 and Fig. 4,9), on an axis ( Fig. 3,14 and Fig. 4,14) with side guides/cheeks ( Fig. 3,15 and Fig. 4,15), which can be located in a roller shutter box ( Fig. 3,11 and Fig. 4,11), can be rolled up after it has passed/run through the insertion slot covered with a panel ( Fig. 3,12 and Fig. 4,12) below the front panel ( Fig. 3,13 and Fig. 4,13). 6. Built-in refrigerator with insulating glass door and variable privacy protection according to claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the roller shutter axis ( Fig. 3,14 and Fig. 4,14) can optionally be omitted entirely and the roller shutter can instead only be inserted into spiral-shaped side profiles. 7. Built-in refrigerator with insulating glass door and variable privacy screen according to claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the roller shutter can be operated either manually by means of a recessed handle ( Fig. 3,10 and Fig. 4,10) or by means of an electric drive. 8. Built-in refrigerator with insulated glass door and variable privacy protection according to claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the roller shutter slats can be made of aluminum, plastic, wood, stainless steel, or other material, or a combination thereof. 9. Built-in refrigerator with insulating glass door and variable privacy protection according to claims 1 to 8, characterized in that the roller shutter box, which can optionally be shaped differently, e.g. square, or round/tubular, can be connected to the insulating glass door in such a way that it can be opened together with it, or that it can be mounted separately in a separate compartment above it. 10. Built-in refrigerator with insulating glass door and variable privacy screen according to claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the privacy screen can also consist of a single or multi-part folding shutter, which can be hinged above the built-in refrigerator, or on its own door frame at the side, top or bottom. 11. Built-in refrigerator with insulating glass door and variable privacy screen according to claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the interior lighting can be switched on automatically when the privacy screen is opened, which can be made possible by a contact switch ( Fig. 1,4) that can be mounted at any location. 12. Built-in refrigerator with insulating glass door and variable privacy screen according to claims 1 to 11, characterized in that the insulating glass door/pane can consist entirely or partially of tinted glass. 13. Built-in refrigerator with insulating glass door and variable privacy protection according to claims 1 to 12, characterized in that partial surfaces of the insulating glass door/pane can optionally be covered with films of all kinds, or painted and printed in different shapes and colors, or darkened in some other way (examples Fig. 8,23; Fig. 9,23 and Fig. 10,23). 14. Built-in refrigerator with insulating glass door and variable privacy protection according to claims 1 to 13, characterized in that the frame of the privacy protection door ( Fig. 5,16) can be so wide that it can cover the edge of the insulating glass door ( Fig. 1,1; Fig. 5,1; Fig. 6, 1 and Fig. 7,1) and its recessed handle ( Fig. 5,19 and Fig. 6,19), whereby the outside handle ( Fig. 5,17) can additionally be provided with a locking button/key ( Fig. 5,18) by means of which the inside door/insulating glass door can be "taken along" at the same time as the outside door/privacy protection door is opened, if desired. 15. Built-in refrigerator with insulating glass door and variable privacy screen according to claims 1 to 14, characterized in that the side handle of the insulating glass door ( Fig. 6,21) and the side handle of the privacy screen door ( Fig. 6,22) can be arranged vertically one above the other or offset. 16. Built-in refrigerator with insulating glass door and variable privacy screen according to claims 1 to 15, characterized in that the lateral recessed grip ( Fig. 7,19) of the insulating glass door and the lateral recessed grip ( Fig. 7,20) of the privacy screen door can be arranged offset one above the other, one below the other, or next to each other at the same height. 17. Built-in refrigerator with insulating glass door and variable privacy screen according to claims 1 to 16, characterized in that this invention can be used for built-in refrigerators with or without a freezer compartment and, analogously and expediently, also for non-built-in refrigerators/solo refrigerators of any type and size.
