The PIN number for debit cards is usually sent in a sealed envelope, which makes it clear to the authorized person whether a third party has already read the confidential information without authorization.

Up to now, printers have been used that write on a piece of paper inside the envelope via a carbon-copy film, with the outside of the envelope being blackened so that no information can be read from the envelope itself. In any case, this cannot be done without tools that would require a great deal of time to use. There is currently no complete security against lengthy examination of the envelope, but people are satisfied with the process because bank employees and postal workers who see the envelopes briefly do not have such tools or criminal energy to gain access to confidential information. Unauthorized access, on the other hand, is usually achieved by tearing them open and is therefore noticeable after a short time.

However, the state-of-the-art sheets have the problem that they require a matrix printer, or at least a printer that applies pressure to print the carbon copy. However, such printers are becoming rarer and it is desirable to also print confidential information using modern inkjet or laser printers.

However, since laser printers only work on the surface, you cannot proceed as before.

The invention was therefore based on the object of developing a sheet for transmitting confidential information.

create a system that makes it visible to the authorised user whether or not someone has gained access to the information and that can be printed on using a modern printer that is not equipped with a writing pad.

According to the invention, this is achieved by a sheet having the features of the main claim. The subclaims give advantageous embodiments of the invention.

In particular, it is advantageous to provide an easily removable silicone, a so-called printing silicone, between a rear-tearable punched-out portion of the sheet itself, the information being printed on a transparent or translucent film positioned in front of the tear-out point, the film advantageously being matt and the tear-out section positioned behind the film being blackened, so that the slightly matt printing in coarse grids cannot be distinguished by the human eye from the underlying blackening.

The problem here is to achieve an adhesive bond of the plastic film on the front that cannot be removed (because then the key information could be read), but on the other hand allows the back of this adhesive film on the front to be removed in order to use it translucent against the light or, after turning the detached part over, on a white background to read the confidential information.

This is solved by first printing a field covered with a film and provided with a narrow print with a silicone and then applying a

Adhesive film, the silicone-printed field is glued on overlapping and in order to make the information printed on the film with a laser printer or an inkjet printer visible, a perforation is provided in the sheet for separating out a section behind the film which is completely covered with silicone on its front side.

Further advantages and features of the invention will become apparent from the following description of a preferred embodiment with reference to the accompanying drawings.

The sheet for transmitting confidential information has a tear-off section in itself, after the removal of which a reading access to the confidential information is created, wherein a translucent film 12 is printed with a laser printer or another printer that only covers one surface with ink, which is applied above a field 10 provided with close printing, which in turn is printed with a silicone. The film shines through at least in some areas.

The translucent or transparent adhesive film can be made accessible from its back side to the sheet in order to make information 14 printed on the film visible by opening a perforation 18 in the sheet in order to separate out a sheet section 16 located behind the film 12.

The dense printing of field 10 advantageously consists of many characters which, when printed on top of each other, form a "confusing variety of lines".

The printed information 14 is advantageously printed with matt ink on a matt, essentially transparent film 12, whereby the remaining film can be printed with a print that is also matt, but with a lower degree of blackness.

Finally, it is even conceivable to create a sheet in which the detachable section 16 is provided on its back with a grid-like partial print which, after the section has been torn out and reinserted, only completes the overall information with partial information printed on the film.

It is particularly advantageous to print gray information with an amplification of the pixels for the actual confidential information 14 in a thin grid 12 on the background 10 printed with irregular black with many lines in many directions (for example, created by printing many letters on top of each other), as shown in Fig. 3.

Only after removing a rear-side tear-out section 16 (Fig. 2) is the information on the foil 12, which in Fig. 2 is in a small edge area, in which the perforated

ized section 16 has been removed. The edge line 18 of the perforated section is advantageously made with microperforation. An authorized user can now recognize at any time from the intact microperforation whether the encryption information has already been read.

Claims (1)

1. Sheet for transmitting confidential information with a tear-off section ( 16 ), after the removal of which a reading access to the confidential information is created, characterized in that 1. a printed field ( 10 ) forming an optically dense background is covered with a film ( 12 ) which is translucent at least in some areas, - wherein the optically dense printed field ( 10 ) is printed in one area with a silicone, - wherein the film ( 12 ) is applied above the silicone-printed area, overlapping the silicone-printed area on all sides, - a perforation ( 18 ) is provided in the sheet to make information ( 14 ) printed on the film ( 12 ) visible, for separating out a section ( 16 ) located behind the film ( 12 ), - wherein the section ( 16 ) is provided on its back with a grid-like print which, after being torn out and inserted into the field with the back side while rotating the section, completes a printed information ( 14 ) on the film with a (partial) information which is in turn printed on it.
