Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Zusatzvorrichtung fur ein Epiliergerät, welches gattungsgemäß ein rotierendes Pinzettenrad mit Quetschklemmen zum Ausreißen überflüssiger, am menschlichen Körper unerwünschter Haare aufweist. Ein derartiges Epiliergerät ist insbesondere in der Patentanmeldung FR 2 758 060 der Anmelderin beschrieben. Das Ausreißen der Haare erweist sich als sehr wirksame Methode gegen ihr Wiedernachwachsen. Jedoch wurde beim Gebrauch festgestellt, daß sich im Moment des Einklemmens eines Haares zwischen dem Kamm und der jeweiligen Quetschklemme ein Hautwulst bildete, wodurch durch die Quetschklemmen ein Kneifen und Zwicken der Haut hervorgerufen wurde. Wenngleich diese Lösung im Hinblick auf die vorhergehend beschriebene Lösung sicherlich eine Verbesserung darstellt, weil die Haut durch die Gleitkufen besser gespannt wird, so findet doch dieses Gerät, was die Geschwindigkeit des Vorgangs betrifft, seine Grenzen, weil die Vorwärtsbewegung des Geräts auf der Haut gebremst ist und weil das Gerät von Zeit zu Zeit auch abgehoben werden muß, um die Haut an ihren Platz zurückkehren zu lassen, bevor man mit der Epilation eines neuen Hautbereichs fortfahren kann. Auf jeder Achse der Zusatzvorrichtung sind Freilaufrollen montiert, die während des Epiliervorgangs Hautkontakt haben. Diejenige Rolle, die mit der Haut unmittelbar vor der Epilation in Berührung kommt, ist mit kleinen Spitzen versehen, was einen AntiSchmerz-Effekt bewirkt, wenn sie sich auf der Haut abrollt. Gewiß offenbart das vorliegende Dokument eine Zusatzvorrichtung mit sich auf der Haut drehenden Rollen, wobei diese Rollen aber ausschließlich einen Anti-Schmerz-Effekt bewirken. Sie haben keinerlei Spannwirkung auf die Haut und sie können auch nicht verhindern, daß die Haut in den durch die beiden Rollen der Zusatzvorrichtung abgegrenzten Bereich eindringt. Dies gilt vor allem in den Gelenkzonen, wo die Haut schlaffer und entspannter ist. Claims

1. Additional device ( 1 ) for an epilator ( 10 ), with a housing ( 11 ) which encloses an electric motor for driving a pinch clamp roller ( 14 ) which can rotate about an axis ( 12 ), and with actuating means for cyclically closing/opening at least one pinch clamp ( 16 , 16 ') intended for pulling out skin hair, the additional device ( 1 ) having a front comb ( 2 ) and a cylindrical rear part ( 4 ) which define a passage plane (P) of the skin surface, and the outer ends of the pinch clamps ( 16 , 16 ') passing directly above the passage plane (P), characterized in that it has a deflection roller ( 6) arranged in the area between the front comb ( 2 ) and the periphery of the pinch clamp roller ( 14 ). ), wherein the deflection roller ( 6 ) projects outward from the additional device into the surface of the skin passage.

5. Additional device ( 1 ) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the deflection roller ( 6 ) has approximately the same length as the epilation zone, which is defined by a window arranged in the device housing.

6. Additional device ( 1 ) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it has several deflection rollers ( 6 ) arranged side by side so as to run freely on a common axis.

Additional device ( 1 ) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is formed by a frame ( 3 ) which has fastening means ( 8 , 8 ') for fastening to the housing ( 11 ) of the epilator ( 10 ), the frame ( 3 ) having an opening ( 7 ) which forms an epilation window and communicates with the device housing epilation window ( 17 ) and has a smaller dimension than the latter.

Additional device ( 1 ) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it has a frame ( 3 ) which is composed of a fixed part ( 20 ) resting on the device housing ( 11 ) and at least one further part ( 21 ) mounted pivotably with respect to the fixed part ( 20 ) against spring means ( 22 ).

9. Additional device ( 1 ) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the initial positioning of the axis of the deflection roller ( 6 ) is adjustable.

10. Additional device ( 1 ) according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that it is mounted removably in relation to the housing ( 11 ) of the device ( 10 ).
