Claims

1. Scissor-like tool with a first and a second lever ( 10 , 30 ) which are pivotally connected to one another and are each provided at one end with a tool part ( 11 , 31 ) and at the other end with a handle ( 12 , 32 ), and a latch ( 33 ) which is provided on the first lever ( 30 ), characterized in that the second lever ( 10 ) has a plurality of locking teeth ( 13 ) and biasing means ( 36 ) for biasing the latch ( 33 ) into engagement with the locking teeth ( 13 ).

2. Scissor-like tool according to claim 1, characterized in that the latch ( 33 ) is pivotally attached to the first lever ( 30 ) by means of a pivot pin ( 34 ).

3. Scissor-like tool according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the biasing means ( 36 ) consist of a spring ( 36 ) which is attached to the first lever ( 30 ) and engages the latch ( 33 ).
