- a locking housing ( 2 ) which has an opening ( 4 ) on the top of the lid, which is closed by a screw cap ( 7 ) which has a tool attachment ( 11 ) on the outside and can be screwed by means of a screw tool engaging thereon in order to open the opening ( 4 ), which has a base ( 3 ) opposite the opening ( 4 ) with a central through-hole and an eccentric through-hole ( 13 ), from the inside of which a projection ( 16 ) protrudes eccentrically and on the outside of which two spaced-apart stops ( 17 ) are arranged,

- a locking block ( 18 ) which is arranged in the locking housing ( 2 ), has a central through-hole ( 19 ) and an eccentric through-hole ( 20 ) for receiving a cylinder lock ( 29 ) and with a transversely directed recess for receiving a locking bolt of the cylinder lock ( 29 ), which has a tool attachment on the side facing the opening ( 4 ) on which it can be rotated by means of a tool inserted through the opening ( 4 ), and which has a recess ( 24 ) on the side facing away from the opening ( 4 ), which is arranged concentrically to its central through-hole ( 19 ) and partially surrounds it, wherein between the ends of the recess ( 24 ) there is a raised area ( 25 ) through which the eccentric through-hole ( 20 ) runs,

2. Manhole cover according to claim 1, wherein the screw closure is a screw cap ( 7 ).

3. Manhole cover according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the housing ( 2 ) has an internal thread ( 6 ) into which the screw cap ( 7 ) with an external thread ( 10 ) is screwed.

4. Manhole cover according to one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the screw closure ( 7 ) has three recesses ( 11 ) on the outside for the attachment of a three-point wrench.

5. Manhole cover according to one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the base ( 3 ) has a further eccentric opening ( 15 ) into which a grub screw ( 16 ) is screwed, which forms the projection on the inside of the base ( 3 ).

6. Manhole cover according to one of claims 1 to 5, wherein the locking block ( 18 ) has three recesses ( 23 ) for the attachment of a three-point key.

7. Manhole cover according to one of claims 1 to 6, wherein the screw closure ( 7 ) and the locking block ( 18 ) can be actuated with the same screwing tool.

8. Manhole cover according to one of claims 1 to 7, wherein the screw ( 26 ) is a square screw.

9. Manhole cover according to one of claims 1 to 8, wherein the screwing tool for the screw closure and/or the locking block comprises a screwing tool for the screw ( 26 ).

10. Manhole cover according to one of claims 1 to 9, in which a helical compression spring ( 22 ) is arranged between the locking block ( 18 ) and the floor ( 3 ), which has the tendency to press the locking block away from the floor.

Manhole cover according to claim 10, wherein the central through-bore ( 19 ) of the locking block ( 18 ) has a constriction ( 21 ) at a distance from the side of the locking block facing the ground and the screw is guided by the helical compression spring ( 22 ) which is supported at one end on the constriction and at the other end on the ground ( 3 ).

12. Manhole cover according to one of claims 1 to 10, in which the cover has a locking device ( 1 ) of the same type or a non-lockable locking device in a corner opposite the locking device ( 1 ).

13. Manhole cover according to one of claims 1 to 12, in which only one cover is inserted into the cover frame.

14. Manhole cover according to one of claims 1 to 12, in which two covers of the type described above are inserted into the cover frame.

15. Manhole cover according to one of claims 1 to 12, in which two covers are inserted into the cover frame, one of which is of the type described above and another of which has non-lockable locking devices and is overlapped by the first-mentioned cover in the edge region.

16. Manhole cover according to one of claims 1 to 15, in which the cover and/or the cover frame are made entirely or partially of steel and/or cast iron.

17. A manhole cover according to claim 16, wherein the cover comprises a trough which is filled with concrete.
