Die einmal getroffene Einstellung der Position des Schreibgeräts soll auch bei einem Wechsel des Schreibgeräts erhalten bleiben. Die Schreibhilfe wird mit der Hand umfaßt und wird von oben mit den zwischen Daumen und Zeigefinger weit geöffneten Haltebacken an das Schreibgerät herangeführt (Fig. 2, Fig. 8). Durch den Kontakt der Schreibhilfe mit der Schreibfläche wird der Riegel eingedrückt und gibt die vordere Haltebacke frei. Die beiden Haltebacken schnappen durch eine Federkraft zusammen (Fig. 3, Fig. 9). Dabei wird das Schreibgerät in die dafür vorgesehenen Nuten gedrückt und wird dadurch hinreichend festgehalten für den eigentlichen Spannvorgang. Claims

1. Writing aid or the like for people with limited hand motor skills, characterized by two holding jaws ( 3 and 4 ) which are linearly movable relative to one another on an axis ( 1 ) but coupled to one another in a radial direction ( 2 ), by which the writing instrument, which initially points with the writing tip towards the user, is held on the work surface in an elongated recess of the holding jaws ( 5 ) and is then pivoted into the writing position by rotation about the above-mentioned axis ( 1 ), the pivoting movement being limited by a pin ( 6 ) which is movable between two end positions in a groove ( 7 ) guided in a circle around the axis.
