Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Tiereinstreu auf der Basis von cellulosehaltigem Material.The invention relates to an animal bedding based on cellulose-containing material.
Eine derartige Tiereinstreu ist aus der DE 195 43 311 C1 bekannt. Bei der bekannten Ausführungsform handelt es sich um eine Tiereinstreu, welche überwiegend aus einem Wasser festhaltenden natürlichen organischen, z.B. cellulosehaltigen Material besteht und ein organisches Verdickungsmittel, z.B. Guarmehl, als klumpenbildenden, das natürliche organische Material unter Bildung eines Gels zusammehaltenden Bestandteil umfaßt.

Die Tiereinstreu besteht also ganz überwiegend aus Holzpartikeln, welche aus Faserbündeln bestehen, wie man sie z. B. durch Zerkleinerung über eine Hammermühle erhält, und/oder aus zu Einzelfasern zerlegtem (fibrilliertem) Holz.
