Die Stärke der Profile liegt ausschließlich im dünnwandigen Bereich. Dabei wird zwischen einem sogenannten UW-Profil, das am Boden und an der Decke eines Raumes befestigt wird und einem sogenannten vertikal stehenden CW-Profil, das an den UW-Profilen befestigt wird, unterschieden.
