1. Device comprising:
a pointing device for providing pointing signals to a computer;
a cushion for resting a portion of a hand using the pointing device; and
a connection connecting the pad to the pointing device, the connection being adjustable to orient the pad at different angles to the pointing device.

2. The device of claim 1, wherein the pointing device is a trackball.

3. The device of claim 1, wherein the connection comprises a curved slot on one of the pointing device and the pad and a projection for engaging the curved slot on the other of the pointing device and the pad.

4. The device of claim 1, wherein the pointing device comprises a bar raised above a support surface and the pad extends below the bar.

5. The device of claim 1, wherein the cushion can be oriented at different angles to support the palm of a user's hand with the wrist at different angles to the hand.

6. The device of claim 1, wherein the cushion is made of a soft, compressible material.

7. Device comprising:
a trackball for providing pointing signals to a computer;
a cushion for resting a portion of a hand using the pointing device; and
a connection connecting the pad to the pointing device, the connection being adjustable to orient the pad at different angles to the pointing device, the connection comprising a curved slot on one of the trackball and the pad and a projection for engaging the curved slot on the other of the trackball and the pad;
wherein the trackball includes a bar raised above a support surface and the pad extends below the bar; and wherein the pad can be oriented at different angles to support the palm of a user's hand with the wrist at different angles to the hand.

8. Device comprising:
a pointing device for providing pointing signals to a computer;
a cushion for resting a portion of a hand using the pointing device; and
wherein the pointing device comprises a bar raised above a support surface and the pad extends below the bar.

9. The apparatus of claim 8, further comprising:
a connection connecting the pad to the pointing device, the connection being adjustable to orient the pad at different angles to the pointing device.

10. The device of claim 8, wherein the pointing device is a trackball.

11. The device of claim 8, wherein the connection comprises a curved slot on one of the pointing device and the pad and a projection for engaging the curved slot on the other of the pointing device and the pad.

12. The device of claim 8, wherein the pad can be oriented at different angles to support the palm of a user's hand with the wrist at different angles to the hand.

13. The device of claim 9, wherein the cushion is made of a soft, compressible material.
