Diese Neuerung betrifft Waschmaschinen und/oder Wäschetrockner, die an der Vorderseite ihres Außengehäuses eine mit einer Tür verschließbare Öffnung zum Einfüllen und Entnehmen der Wäsche in/aus einer von einem oszillierenden Waschbehälter umschlossenen drehbaren Trommel aufweisen.This innovation concerns washing machines and/or tumble dryers which have an opening on the front of their outer casing which can be closed with a door for loading and unloading laundry into/from a rotating drum enclosed by an oscillating washing container.
Maschinen dieser Art sind wohl bekannt, auch auf Grund dessen, dass sie den Verbrauchern in den meisten Ländern der Welt zur Verfügung stehen. Im Vergleich mit den Maschinen mit Topladeöffnung haben diese Maschinen den Nachteil, dass die Benutzer gezwungen sind, sich zum Einfüllen und Entnehmen der Wäsche zu bücken. Um diese Arbeiten zu erleichtern, wurden, auch von der Anmelderin, relativ einfache Lösungen wie eine erhöhte Anordnung der Öffnung an der Vorderseite des Gehäuses und das Vergrößern ihres Durchmessers eingeführt. Es liegt dennoch auf der Hand, dass es nicht möglich ist, den Durchmesser dieser Öffnung unbegrenzt zu vergrößern, da die Außenmaße des Außengehäuses praktisch standardisiert sind, wobei die Höhe (85 oder 90 cm) immer eindeutig größer ist als die Breite (nicht mehr als 60 cm).Machines of this type are well known, also because they are available to consumers in most countries of the world.
