Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine Profilleiste, insbesondere Kantenleiste für die Möbelindustrie aus einem polymeren Werkstoff, mit einem Leistenkern und wenigstens einem Dekorstreifen, wobei der Leistenkern an seiner Sichtseite als transparente Kunststoffleiste ausgebildet ist.The invention relates to a profile strip, in particular an edge strip for the furniture industry made of a polymeric material, with a strip core and at least one decorative strip, wherein the strip core is designed on its visible side as a transparent plastic strip.

Derartige Profil- bzw. Kantenleisten sind für die Dekoration von vorzugsweise Möbeloberflächen vorgesehen. Kantenleisten. Im Rahmen dieses spanabhebenden Arbeitsganges werden zwangsläufig die auf den Profil- bzw. Kantenleisten aufgebrachten dekorativen Schichten im Bereich der Sichtkanten entfernt und es kommt der Leistenkern zum Vorschein, der im allgemeinen eine andere Strukturierung und/oder Färbung aufweist.
Dies ist insbesondere in optischer und ästhetischer Hinsicht ein erheblicher Nachteil.
Weiterhin weisen die bekannten Profil- bzw. Kantenleisten im allgemeinen störende Ränder auf, die sich von der dekorativen Struktur des Leistenkerns unterscheiden, so dass beim Verarbeiten der Profil- bzw. Kantenleisten ein sog. Bilderrahmen-Effekt entsteht. Um einen solchen Bilderrahmen-Effekt zu vermeiden, sind sehr aufwendige Nacharbeitsgänge speziell der Ränder der Profil- bzw. Kantenleisten erforderlich, welche die Wirtschaftlichkeit in Frage stellen.The profile or edge strips very often have to be adapted to the corresponding wood panels or wood-based panels for optical reasons, which is done in a subsequent, usually machining operation. Verschiebungen dieser Dekorfolie kommen kann, so dass das Design und die Ästhetik derart aufgebrachter Profil- bzw. In Figur 1 ist die erfindungsgemäße Profilleiste (1) dargestellt, die in ihrem Inneren einen Dekorstreifen (2) in Form einer Metallfolie aufweist. Die Sichtseite (3) der Profilleiste (1) ist aus einem transparenten, d.h. durchsichtigen polymeren Werkstoff hergestellt, so dass der Dekorstreifen (2) die gewünschten Designeffekte, in diesem Fall einen Metalleffekt, hervorbringt. Die Fertigung derartiger Profilleisten (1) erfolgt im allgemeinen durch das Verfahren der Extrusion. Es liegt jedoch auch im Rahmen der Erfindung, die Koextrusion verschiedener polymerer Werkstoffe zu nutzen, um verschiedenfarbige bzw. unterschiedlich harte Werkstoffe zu den erfindungsgemäßen Profilleisten (1) zu verarbeiten. Der in der Profilleiste (1) angeordnete Dekorstreifen (2) kann bei späteren Bearbeitungen nicht beschädigt werden und erzeugt, wie in diesem Ausführungsbeispiel als Metallfolie einen gewissen Spiegeleffekt, wobei dieser Dekorstreifen (2) parallel zur Unterseite (4) der Profilleiste (1) verläuft.
