The present invention relates to a head holder for cordless telephones, mobile telephones and the like.

The head holder 10 shown in the drawing is used to hold a cordless telephone or telephone handset 11 or even a mobile phone on the head 12 of a user in such a way that the telephone can be made without physical problems and with free head movement and free hands (Figure 1). The mounting connection between the head holder 10 and the telephone handset 11 can be made and released again very easily and quickly.

The head holder 10 has, according to Figure 2, a curved bracket 15, which consists of an elastic and in particular elastically expandable material and which

adapted to the average head shape of the user in question. The bracket 15 is provided at one end with a flat plate 16, on the inner surface 17 of which one element 18 of a Velcro fastener 20 is attached, preferably glued. The bracket 15 is shaped so that, as shown in Figure 1, it is worn on the head 12 of a user in such a way that the flat plate 16 comes to lie at the level of one of the user's ears, while the other end of the bracket 15 ends on the other side of the head above the other ear.

A counter element 19 of the Velcro fastener 20 is attached to the back of the housing 14 of the telephone handset 11 at the level of its earpiece, preferably glued on with double-sided adhesive tape, as shown in Figure 3. The Velcro fastener 20 makes it possible to attach the telephone handset 11 to the plate 16 and hold it in place, in almost any angular position of the telephone handset axis and the bracket axis in the area of the plate 16. This allows the mouthpiece of the telephone handset 11 to be brought to the level of the user's mouth in the optimal and desired manner.

In the embodiment shown, the bracket 15 is bent from a wire in such a way that two legs 22, 23 running next to each other are formed, the free ends of which are inserted into the plate 16, which is made of plastic, for example. The free ends of the

Legs 22, 23 are bent towards each other so that a form-fitting holder is created. The other end 26 of the bracket 15, which faces away from the plate 16, is created by the one-piece bent connection of the two legs 22 and 23 to each other. The bracket 15 is made of spring steel so that it can be elastically expanded in relation to the clear width between the two ends of the bracket. This results in an optimal fit adapted to different head shapes. Between the two ends 16 and 26, the two legs 22 and 23 run apart and together again.

It is understood that the head holder 10, which does not have any electrical or electronic components, or its bracket 15 can also be made of plastic in the form of, for example, a wider curved web.

The asymmetrically designed head holder 10 can be used both in the position shown in Figure 1 and in a position rotated by 180°, i.e. on the other ear.

Claims (6)

1. Head holder ( 10 ) for cordless telephones, mobile telephones and the like, characterized by a curved elastic bracket ( 15 ), at one end of which a device ( 20 ) for releasably fastening a telephone handset ( 11 ) is arranged. 2. Head holder according to claim 1, characterized in that the device for releasable fastening is formed by a Velcro fastener ( 20 ), one element ( 18 ) of which is fastened to the relevant end of the bracket ( 15 ) and the counter element ( 19 ) of which can be fastened to the rear of the housing of the telephone handset ( 14 ). 3. Head holder according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the end of the bracket ( 15 ) provided with the fastening device ( 20 ) is flat, preferably in the form of a flat plate ( 16 ). 4. Head holder according to claims 2 and 3, characterized in that one Velcro fastening element ( 18 ) is glued to the flat end of the bracket ( 15 ). 5.
