Fastening device for containers such as bags or similar.

The invention relates to a fastening device for containers such as bags or the like, in particular for mobile phone bags, on supports such as straps, rods, body parts, etc., with a band-shaped textile adhesive fastener (Velcro fastener) which can be placed around the support and closed.

In particular, the development of tourism has led to the development of a wide range of special containers for storing and transporting special items, such as containers for identity documents, purses and mobile phone cases, in addition to the conventional large containers such as suitcases, travel bags and the like. In order to be able to handle these separately on the one hand, but also to not forget or lose them outside of the times of immediate use, fastening devices have proven to be useful. These are generally permanently attached to the respective container - for example, in the case of textile containers,

by sewing - and can be detachably attached to another carrier (carrying strap of bags, belts or directly to the owner's arm). The textile fastener (Velcro fastener) mentioned at the beginning has proven to be particularly suitable for this purpose, which is generally band-shaped and consists of a hook section and a fleece section.

Known Velcro fastening devices of this type consist of a band which, depending on how it is attached to the container to be attached, allows it to be attached in one direction. It has also become known to attach a mobile phone case to the fastening device using a rotating rivet connection, in order to be able to rotate the mobile phone - for example when attached to a belt - from the vertical holding position to a horizontal holding position. Such a design is always exposed to the risk that the rotating connection will come loose and the container will fall off the fastening device.

The invention is based on the object of providing a fastening device which enables the container to be attached to the carrier in different positions.

According to the invention, this object is achieved by a cross-like arrangement of two straps, which allows the bag to be optionally attached to the carrier in directions that are essentially perpendicular to one another. The cross arms of each strap form a hook and loop fastener and, in use, the fastener that is not required at any one time can be closed first (in a sort of offset position) and the other fastener can be placed over this and the carrier and then also closed. It is also possible to close the first fastener through a loop of, for example, a carrying strap and then close the second fastener around this and the carrying strap, thereby creating a double and correspondingly secure connection to the carrier.

Preferably, the straps are of different widths, which makes fastening of the type described above possible in a particularly favorable manner.

Furthermore, it is advantageous that each band has a hook section and a fleece section, with the hook section being arranged on the inside of one cross arm (in the folding direction) and the fleece section being arranged on the outside of the other cross arm. If the two bands have different widths, the arrangement can be such that the hook or fleece sections of the narrow band essentially take up the entire length of the cross arms, while on the cross arms of the wide band only the edge areas are provided with the hook or fleece sections, which run parallel to the narrow band at a distance. This allows optimal adaptation to the configuration of the respective wearer.

In a further development of the invention, it is provided that the hook section of the narrow band extends somewhat into the intersection area with the wide band and that at least complementary areas on the inside of the cross arms carrying the fleece section also have a fleece section. As a result, when both fasteners are closed, one fastener is alternately attached to the other, whereby internal movements of the fastening device are greatly restricted due to the flexibility of the textile material. With a similar aim, it can be provided that a fleece section is provided on the outside of the wide band in the area of the inside hook section over a short length and that, in the corresponding closed state, the cross arm of the narrow band placed over this outside side ends in front of that fleece section. The hook section then covers both fleece sections together and creates a correspondingly rigid lock.

The drawing illustrates the invention using an embodiment. It shows:

upper outer side of a narrow band running crosswise to the wide band.

Made of a wide band 1 and a narrow band 2, which run crosswise to each other. The wide band 1 has the cross arms 3 and 4, the narrow band 2 has the cross arms 5 and 6. Both bands 1, 2 are made of a sturdy fabric.

Each surface section of the cross arms 3 to 6 (and also part of the crossing area 7) is provided with one of the two partners of the Velcro fasteners provided on the bands 1, 2, i.e. either with a hook section or a fleece section. The hook sections are shown hatched, the fleece sections are marked with clouds.

The wide band 1 has a fleece section on the outside in an edge section 8 running parallel to the narrow band 2 (Figure 1) and a hook section complementary to this on the inside in a corresponding edge section 9 (Figure 2); however, at one end the fleece section 8 is folded over to the inside in the area 10 and thus borders on the hook section 9. Furthermore, on the other side of the cross arm 4, opposite the edge section 8, so to speak, the corresponding edge section 11 is also provided with fleece.

The cross arm 6 of the narrow band 2 has a fleece section 1 2 on the outside which is placed around the free end of the cross arm 6 and covers a section 13 of the inside of the cross arm 6. The opposite cross frame 5 of the

narrow band 2 is designed on the inside, with the exception of a grip tab 14 at the end, as a hook section 15 which extends into the crossing section 7 in the area 16. The fleece section 10 of the hook arm 3 can be attached to this if the adhesive fastener of the wide band 1 is not required.

The short fleece section 10 in the edge area of the cross arm 3 of the wide band 1 continues - laid around the edge of the band - in a fleece section 17 on the outside. When the narrow band 2 is closed a second time, it is placed on its cross arm 6 in a way that extends it, so that the hook section 15 engages with both fleece sections 12 and 17 together.

Claims (6)

1. Fastening device for containers such as bags or the like, in particular for mobile phone bags, on supports such as straps, bars, body parts, etc., with a band-shaped textile adhesive fastener (Velcro fastener) which can be placed around the support and closed, characterized by a cross-like arrangement of two bands ( 1 , 2 ) which allows the bag to be optionally fastened to the support in directions which are essentially perpendicular to one another. 2. Fastening device according to claim 1, characterized in that the bands ( 1 , 2 ) have different widths. 3. Fastening device according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that each band ( 1 ; 2 ) has a hook section ( 9 ; 15 ) and a fleece section ( 8 ; 12 ), wherein the hook section is arranged (in the folding direction) on the inside of one cross arm ( 3 ; 5 ) and the fleece section is arranged on the outside of the other cross arm ( 4 ; 6 ). 4. Fastening device according to claims 2 and 5, characterized in that the hook or fleece sections ( 15 ; 12 ) of the narrow band ( 2 ) take up substantially the entire length of the cross arms ( 5 , 6 ), while on the cross arms ( 3 , 4 ) of the wide band only edge areas are provided with the hook or fleece sections ( 8 , 9 ), which run at a distance parallel to the narrow band ( 2 ). 5. Fastening device according to claim 4, characterized in that the hook section ( 15 ) of the narrow band ( 2 ) extends somewhat into the intersection area ( 7 ) with the wide band ( 1 ) and on the cross arms ( 4 ; 6 ) each carrying the fleece section ( 8 ; 12 ), at least complementary areas also have a fleece section ( 11 ; 13 ) on the inside. 6. Fastening device according to claim 4 or 5, characterized in that on the wide band ( 1 ) in the region of the inner hook section ( 9 ) a fleece section ( 17 ) is provided on the outside over a short length and in the corresponding closed state the cross arm ( 6 ) of the narrow band ( 2 ) placed over this outer side ends before that fleece section.
