Faecal residues in toilet bowls
Toilettenbürsten bestehen aus einem kurzen Stiel mit einer Griffpartie an einem Ende und einem Bürstenkopf an dem anderen Ende. Sie werden mit dem Bürstenkopf über einem Abtropfgefaß stehend oder hängend aufbewahrt. Toilettenbürsten dienen zum Entfernen von Fäkalrückständen in Abortbecken. Viele Menschen haben Hemmungen eine Toilettenbürste zu benutzen, weil die Fäkalien mit der Bürste berührt werden und die Bürste oft in einem verunreinigten Zustand in ihrem Abtropfgefaß zurückgelassen worden ist. Ihr Aufbewahrungsgefäß ist ebenfalls ein unangenehmer Gegenstand. In ihm tropft die Bürste ab und das stehende Wasser kann übel riechen, wenn der Abtropfbehälter nicht regelmäßig gereinigt wird. Ästhetisch steht der Behälter auf dem Boden recht günstig, doch hat das Erreichen der WC-Bürste - mindestens aber die Benutzung einer WC-Bürste - ein Herabbücken in Richtung des Abortes zur Folge. Der Anblick und die Handhabung eines Toilettenbürstensystems ist für die meisten Menschen unangenehm, bzw. für einige Menschen mit Rückenerkrankungen nicht durchführbar. Die Folge ist eine häufige Ablehnung des Umgangs mit der Toilettenbürste, woraus offensichtliche hygienische Versäumnisse resultieren, die obendrein einen Makel auf die/den Hausherrin/en werfen.Toilet brushes consist of a short handle with a grip at one end and a brush head at the other end.
