Prüfgerät zur Bestimmung der Falzfestigkeit von Papier, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Falzgerät aus zwei beweglichen Klemmbacken zur Aufnahme der Probe besteht, welche sich horizontal gegenüberstehen und daß ein geschlitztes Falzmesser in einer Längskugelführung zwischen vier Falzrollen hin und her gleitet und dabei am Papier eine bestimmte Anzahl von Doppelfalzungen je Minute ausführt, wobei die Klemmvorrichtungen von unten her durch Rollen gestützt werden und frei zwischen Zugfedern schweben, während sie in Bewegung sind und das Falzmesser mit einem vertikalen Schlitz versehen ist, welcher sich jeweils etwas oberhalb beziehungsweise unterhalb der Normallage der Probe verbreitert, wobei die vertikalen Kanten des Schlitzes mit einem Radius versehen sind, welcher der halben Dicke des Falzmessers entspricht, die vier Falzrollen sind symmetrisch um den Mittelpunkt des Falzschlitzes angeordnet. 1.
