Solaranlagen benötigen eine Vor- und eine Rücklaufleitung zwischen den Solarkollektoren und dem Solarspeicher, die entsprechend der Heizungsanlagenverordnung isoliert sein müssen. Ein Nachteil besteht jedoch dort, wo die Anschlüsse zu den Kollektoren, Zwischenstationen oder Solarspeichern zu schaffen sind. Dort werden dann die beiden Rohre sowie das Kabel durch eine Längsschlitzung der Einheit getrennt und jedes separat zu den Anschlussstellen geführt. Zwei Rohre 1 als weiche, biegsame Kupferrohre sind jeweils mit einer geeigneten UV- und temperaturbeständigen Isolierung 2 umgeben. Ihnen ist außerdem ein zwei- oder mehradriges Kabel 3 zugeordnet. Die Rohre 1 mit ihrer Isolierung 2 und das/die Kabel 3 sind mit einem Mantel 4 aus einem Netzgewebe zusammengehalten. Die komplette Einheit kann vorgefertigt bezogen werden. An den Anschlussstellen wird der Mantel 4 in entsprechender Länge aufgetrennt. Jetzt liegen die Rohre 1 mit ihrer Isolierung 2 und die Kabel 3 frei.
