Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verpackungselement aus Wellpappe oder dergleichen zum Verpacken von mindestens teilweise flachförmigen Gegenständen in einer Umverpackung, wobei das Verpackungselement im wesentlichen aus einem Polster besteht und mehrere solcher Verpackungselemente zur Fixierung des Gegenstandes in/an seinen Randbereichen innerhalb der Umverpackung dienen. Derartige Verpackungselemente dienen zur schonenden und positionsgenauen Aufnahme von flachförmigen Gegenständen in einer Umverpackung bzw. einem Umkarton. Die bekannten Verpackungselemente dienen neben der Fixierung des Verpackungsguts innerhalb des Umkartons auch zur Polsterung empfindlicher und/oder zerbrechlicher Gegenstände. Die Verpackungselemente bzw. Polster sind maßlich exakt auf die Abmessungen des jeweils zu verpackenden Gegenstandes angepaßt. Die Fixierung der Gegenstände innerhalb der Umverpackung erfolgt unmittelbar an Kanten und/oder Ecken der zu verpackenden Gegenstände, indem die Polster zwischen einem Rand- und/oder Eckbereich des Gegenstandes und der Umverpackung quasi eingeklemmt und unter Umständen zusätzlich am Umkarton fixiert werden. Daraus ergibt sich der Nachteil, daß für flachförmige Gegenstände mit unterschiedlichen Abmessungen, die in einer Umverpackung mit standardisierten Abmessungen verpackt werden sollen, jeweils unterschiedliche oder verstellbare Verpackungselemente vorgesehen sein müssen. Im ersten Fall führt dies zu einer großen Anzahl unterschiedlichster Polster und damit verbunden zu einem erhöhten Bedarf an Lagerkapazität. Im zweiten Fall hat die komplexe Gestaltung der Polster unmittelbaren, nämlich negativen Einfluß auf die Stabilität der Verpackungselemente.Such packaging elements are used to carefully and precisely hold flat objects in an outer packaging or box. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß zusammen mit den Merkmalen des Oberbegriffs des Anspruchs 1 dadurch gelöst, daß das Polster wenigstens zweigeteilt ist und diese Polsterteile von einem biege- und/oder faltbaren, sie verbindenden Steg so getragen sowie im Bereich der freien Enden der Schenkel des Steges derart angeordnet sind, daß die Aufnahme des flachförmigen Gegenstandes zwischen den Polsterteilen unter fester Anlage gegen die Fläche des Gegenstandes gewährleistet ist. Durch diese konstruktive Ausgestaltung sind flachförmige Gegenstände unterschiedlicher Abmessungen mit ein und demselben Verpackungselement in einer standardisierten Umverpackung verpackbar, da jedes Verpackungselement zur Fixierung und Polsterung der mindestens teilweise flachförmigen Gegenstände an Flächen derselben angreift und somit gewährleistet, daß zum Rand- und/oder Eckbereich in alle drei Dimensionen ausreichend Spielraum zur Aufnahme unterschiedlich großer Gegenstände besteht. Dadurch, daß eine Fixierung unmittelbar im Kanten- und Eckbereich der Gegenstände vermieden wird, kann eine längen-, breiten- und auch dickenabmessungsunabhängige Verpackung realisiert werden. Dies vereinfacht und beschleunigt zum einen den Packprozeß. Zum anderen wird durch die Reduzierung der Typen eine geringere Lagerhaltung erforderlich. Des weiteren werden durch die erfindungsgemäße Ausgestaltung der Verpackungselemente Relativbewegungen innerhalb der Umverpackung vermieden. In Fig. 1 ist ein Teil einer Verpackung 10 dargestellt. Die Verpackung 10 ist aus einem Stülpboden 11 und einem nicht dargestellten Stülpdeckel gebildet. Die Verpackung 10 ist im gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel aus Wellpappe hergestellt, zur Bildung einer Umverpackung aus dem Stülpboden 11 und dem Stülpdeckel für darin zu lagernde bzw. zu transportierende Gegenstände 12. Der Gegenstand 12 ist flachförmig ausgebildet und weist umlaufend im Randbereich einen gegenüber der Fläche 13 erhöhten Rahmen 14 auf (siehe Fig. 2). Es können jedoch auch vollständig flache bzw. ebene Gegenstände verpackt werden. Wichtig ist lediglich, daß mindestens teilweise flächige bzw. ebene Flächen bzw. Abschnitte vorhanden sind, an denen Verpackungselemente 15 als weiterer Bestandteil der Verpackung 10 angreifen bzw. anliegen können. Innerhalb des Stülpbodens 11 ist der Gegenstand 12 rutschfest und stoßsicher angeordnet. Hierfür sind im gezeigten Ausfuhrungsbeispiel an drei Seiten des Stülpbodens 11, nämlich an zwei parallel gegenüberliegenden Längsseiten 16 und 17 sowie einer quer zu den Längsseiten 16 und 17 verlaufenden Stirnseite 18 jeweils zwei Verpackungselemente 15 angeordnet. Die Verpackungselemente 15 dienen als eine Art dreidimensionaler Abstandshalter und gewährleisten, daß der Gegenstand 12 in seinen Rand- und Eckbereichen freiliegend bzw. „schwebend", also mit einem Abstand zu Boden- und Seitenflächen des Stülpbodens 11, innerhalb desselben aufgenommen ist. An einer weiteren Stirnseite 19 liegt der Gegenstand 12 unmittelbar am Stülpboden 11 an. An freien Enden 25 und 26 der Schenkel 22 bzw. 23 sind die Polsterteile 21, die vorzugsweise mehrlagig und insbesondere 3-lagig ausgebildet sind, angeordnet. Im gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel sind die Polsterteile 21 durch Klebung an Innenseiten 27 und 28 der Schenkel 22 und 23 befestigt. Alternativ ist es jedoch auch denkbar, daß die Polsterteile 21 durch Heften, Stecken oder andere übliche Verbindungstechniken an den Schenkeln 22 und 23 fixiert sind. Die Polsterteile 21 bilden zwischen einander zugekehrten Flächen 29 und 30 einen Spalt 31. Der Spalt 31 weist einen Abstand im jeweils dazwischen anzuordnenden Gegenstand 12 auf. Die Polsterteile 21 erstrecken sich nur über einen Teil der Länge der Schenkel 22 und 23, so daß durch die Schenkel 24 bzw. 22 und 23 einerseits sowie die Polsterteile 21 andererseits ein Aufhahmeraum 32 gebildet ist. Mit anderen Worten wird der Aufnahmeraum 32 dadurch gebildet, daß die Polsterteile 21 einen Abstand vom Biege- und/oder Faltbereich des Steges 20, der durch Falzlinien 33 und 34 gebildet wird, aufweisen.Each packaging element 15 consists of a web 20 and two cushion parts 21. Im Bereich des Spaltes 31 weisen die Polsterteile 21 auf den einander zugekehrten Seiten bzw. Flächen 29, 30 Mittel zur kraftschlüssigen Festsetzung an und rückstandsfreien Lösung von der Gegenstandsfläche auf. Im gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel ist das Mittel ein doppelseitiges Klebeband. Es kann jedoch auch ein sogenannter offen bleibenden Kleber, z.B. in Form eines Hot-Melt-Leims, zum Einsatz kommen. Ein Ausgleich in x- und y-Richtung ist durch den durch die Verpackungselemente 15 realisierten Spielraum in den genannten Richtungen auf einfache Weise möglich. Da die Verpackungselemente 15 bzw. die Schenkel 22 und 23 um die Falzlinien 33 und 34 falt- bzw. klappbar sind, besteht auch die Möglichkeit der Anpassung an unterschiedliche Dicken der Gegenstände 12, so daß durch das erfindungsgemäße Verpackungselement 15 bzw. die Verpackung 10 eine dreidimensionale Abstandsfixierung zum universellen Einsatz geschaffen ist.In the embodiment according to Fig. 1, a flat object 12 with a frame 14 is arranged in the slip-on base 11.
