Description

Urinals, variable and flexible installation in the toilet lid.

Urinals are more commonly found in public areas. They are less commonly used in private areas, as toilet rooms are often very narrow. Urinals that are firmly attached to the wall are also considered annoying.

It is generally known that when men use the toilet while standing to urinate, they get splattered afterwards, especially on the seat ring and lid of the toilet. Various inventions have been introduced to remedy this, including GM 780764 GM 298213451. These are height-adjustable, swivel and even mobile. They all have the goal of preventing splattering. The disadvantages of these devices are the handling, as more actions would have to be taken than just opening the toilet lid. Another disadvantage is that it is an additional device and of course also takes up a certain amount of space.

According to the invention, the problem is solved in that the toilet lid has a rectangular recess with guide rails on the vertical sides into which the urinal container is suspended with its two axle pins on the right and left sides. The toilet lid itself contains a hinge cylinder, which means that the toilet lid with the urinal can stand freely at any required height.

If the lid is pushed down, the urinal can also be used by smaller boys. For very tall men, the toilet lid can be placed in a slanted or vertical position and the urinal in the guide rails can also be pulled up. The urinal is fitted with a flexible drain hose at the bottom end, which can be connected to the sewer system. The urinal itself can be made of plastic or metal and the volume only needs to be around 1.5 litres. The upper urinal opening only needs to be around 12 x 12 cm. The urinal is fitted with a loose, removable, inward-sloping splash guard. This also prevents urine from splashing out, which would otherwise be possible. The urinal is fitted with a lockable lid. A so-called round jet nozzle is fitted on the side in the upper area of the urinal, which only extends a little into the interior and to which the flexible flush water inlet hose is connected. When the lid is closed, the entire interior of the urinal is sprayed out by the circular jet nozzle during the flushing process. Since the urinal itself can be kept very small, the amount of water required for one flush is also very small. A water quantity of 0.5 litres would be more than sufficient for one flush. If these urinals are used, there will be no more toilet bowls splashed by male users. When the toilet lid is closed, the urinal itself cannot be seen. If the toilet is used normally, the user has the urinal behind them at back height. It can also be connected later in very tight spaces. It is likely to be used primarily in private areas.

1. Urinals, characterized in that the urinal vessel can be hung in a rectangular recess of a toilet lid and on the guide rails located on the sides thereof with their axle pins. 2. Urinals according to claim 1, characterized in that the urinal vessel can be displaced horizontally and moved axially in the guide rails. 3. Urinals according to claim 1 and 2, characterized in that the height adjustment of the urinals is achieved by the position of the toilet lid and its hinge cylinder. 4. Urinals according to claim 1, characterized in that the urinal vessel is provided with a round jet nozzle for flushing. 5. Urinals according to claim 1 and 4, characterized in that the urinal vessel is provided with a circumferential rubber sealing ring on the upper edge of the bowl and thus the lid can tightly close the urinal. 6. Urinals according to claims 1 and 5, characterized in that the urinal vessel is provided with a loose, removable splash guard rim.
