Dabei ist es möglich, das zumindest eine Band entweder quer, d. h. im wesentlichen rechtwinklig zur Längsrichtung des Beins anzubringen oder das Band auch schräg, also gewissermaßen auch diagonal, anzubringen, wenn dies bei der Behandlung des Knies aus besonderen Gründen erforderlich erscheint. Diese wahlweise Anordnung des Bandes wird dadurch ermöglicht, daß dieses an seinen beiden Enden je mit einem Kletthakenbereich bzw. mit Klettverschlußteilen versehen ist, so daß das Band an beliebigen Stellen der Klettverschlußstreifen bzw. der Klettflauschstreifen angebracht werden kann. Auch kann durch unterschiedliche Spannung der elastischen Bänder 4 jeweils, falls gewünscht, eine differenzierte Druckbelastung oberhalb bzw. unterhalb der Kniescheibe ausgeübt werden. Die elastischen Bänder 4 sind endsei tig jeweils mit Kletthakenbereichen 5 versehen, mittels derer die entsprechenden Enden der jeweiligen elastischen Bänder 4 mit den jeweiligen Klettflauschstreifen 3 verbindbar sind. Eine solche Tasche 7 ist jeweils auf beiden Seiten der Bandage 1 vorgesehen.
