Die Erfindung betrifft einen Geschirrkorb für eine Geschirrspülmaschine mit einem mit Kunststoff beschichteten Drahtgrundgestell.

Am Markt bekannte Geschirrspülmaschinen weisen wenigstens einen Geschirrkorb zum Einordnen des zu reinigenden Spülgutes auf. Üblicherweise sind diese Geschirrkörbe aus Drahtgrundgestellen aus Stahldraht gefertigt. Sie sind wegen der Korrosionsgefahr durch die in den Geschirrspülmaschinen eingesetzten Chemikalien mit einem Korrosionsschutz aus organischen Polymeren überzogen, wobei z.B. ein Kunststoffüberzug eingesetzt wird, der üblicherweise mittels eines Beschichtungsverfahrens aufgebracht wird, z.B. in der DE-OS 20 50 905 beschrieben. Die Farbe der Beschichtung variiert je nach Design der mit den Körben bestückten Maschine. Sie wird erzeugt durch die Zugabe von handelsüblichen Pigmenten zu dem Kunststoffüberzug. Bevorzugt und damit allgemein üblich sind besonders glatte Oberflächen, da der Verbraucher davon ausgeht, dass an diesen Oberflächen keine Restverunreinigungen anhaften. So bleiben am Ende des Spülvorgangs an den Kontaktstellen, an denen das gespülte Geschirr auf dem Geschirrkorb aufliegt, lediglich Tropfen zurück, die nur schwer verdampfen. Damit bleibt das Geschirr nass. Um diese Tropfen zu verdampfen und damit das Geschirr schnell trocknet, ist Verdampfungsenergie notwendig, die den Stromverbrauch beeinflusst.Dishwashers known on the market have at least one dish basket for placing the dishes to be cleaned. Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, einen Geschirrkorb mit einer Oberfläche zu schaffen, die die Wassertropfen von den Kontaktstellen wegzieht, indem sie sie als Film auf der ganzen beschichteten Oberfläche gleichmäßig verteilt und somit dafür sorgt, dass das Wasser bei geringer Wärmezufuhr (Restwärme) schnell verdampft. Diese Aufgabe wird dadurch gelöst, dass der Geschirrkorb mit einem Kunststofrüberzug versehen wird, der eine mittlere Rauhigkeit Rz von > 5 &mgr;&eegr;&igr; aufweist und sich trotzdem glatt anfühlt. Die Rauhtiefe wurde gemessen nach DIN 4768 mit dem Rauhtiefenmessgerät RM 600 der Fa. Rodenstock. Bei dieser Messung wird die Oberfläche mit einem Laserstrahl abgetastet. Die Geschirrspülkörbe bestehen jeweils aus einem mit Kunststoff beschichteten Drahtgestell, wobei erfindungsgemäß das Drahtgrundgestell des Geschirrkorbes aus üblichem Baustahl hergestellt und mit einer Schicht überzogen ist, die Wasser in der beschriebenen Weise verteilt und die im wesentlichen aus einem Kunststoff - im wesentlichen aus Polyamid 11 oder Polyamid 12 - besteht und mittels eines Kunststoffbeschichtungsverfahrens aufgebracht ist. Mit dem erfindungsgemäßen Geschirrkorb ist auf einfache Art und Weise ein Korb für eine Geschirrspülmaschine geschaffen, der den optischen Gesamteindruck eines Gerätes hebt und durch die beschriebene Eigenschaft dafür sorgt, dass das Geschirrgut ohne nennenswerte Energiezufuhr getrocknet wird und der ohne Mehraufwand herstellbar ist.The dishwasher baskets each consist of a wire frame coated with plastic, whereby according to the invention the wire base frame of the dish basket is made of conventional structural steel and covered with a layer that distributes water in the manner described and which essentially consists of a plastic - essentially polyamide 11 or polyamide 12 - and is applied by means of a plastic coating process.
