Gutter inner angle

Gutters are used to drain roof surfaces. Gutter inner angles can be manufactured industrially as accessories for gutters. The gutters coming from the left and right are simply mitred and connected by hand.

During heavy rainfall, the water that collects in the throat "shoots" over the gutter. The solution to this problem has been to attach a baffle to the bulge. (Drawing 1, Part 3)

Leaves and dirt easily collect in the sharp angle and clog the gutter.

A conventional angle must be changed so that:

- no precipitation can pass

- Leaves and dirt cannot settle due to a more aerodynamic shape

- it is aesthetically pleasing

- it can be manufactured industrially without great effort

The gutter inner angle is extended towards the front.

Examples of implementation

1. A gutter inner angle with extension can be made by hand using a development. An additional part (drawing 2, part 1) is soldered, welded, glued or riveted into a conventional angle. Two further parts (drawing 2, parts 2) can be attached to the bead for stabilization.

2. The angle can be manufactured industrially using a deep-drawing process or an injection molding process. This design does not create any seams that could be weak points. The corners can be rounded as desired.

3. All designs can be used for all gutter shapes, e.g. semi-circular, box-shaped, horizontal gutters, parapet gutters, simarin gutters, profile gutters and much more.

4. All common materials can be used.

Claims (1)

Gutter inner angle, mitred - the entire angle is symmetrical; - the half of the gutter facing the roof retains its shape until it reaches the run; - the front half receives an additional element (part 1): - the half facing away from the roof corresponds in cross-section to the shape of the rest of the gutter; - the inserted element (part 1) extends the cross-section - in the same level as the rest of the gutter; - the bead of the inserted element (part 1) can be straight, polygonal or rounded towards the roof surface; - a flat surface is created in the barrel, which can vary depending on the shape of the bead chosen. With a straight bead, a flat triangle is created, with the other variants the front side is not a straight line; - the angle is made of the same material as the rest of the gutter; - the angle can be made from one or more pieces, depending on the manufacturing process; - Independently of the element (part 1), additional elements (e.g. part 2) can be inserted.
