Description

The invention relates to a presentation shelf with a presentation wall attached to a support unit, which has at least one receiving means for displaying an article, in particular shoes, according to the preamble of claim 1.

Display shelves for displaying articles, in particular shoes, are already known. They have a display wall which is held in place by a support unit and which is provided with a plurality of holding means for displaying articles. Such display shelves are often used not only for display purposes but also for dividing up sales rooms, with articles accessible to customers, such as shoes, being displayed on corresponding holding means on a front side of the display shelf in a showroom and a second, rear side of the display shelf delimiting a usable space which is not normally intended for access by customers. Such a usable space can, for example, be a storage room for storing corresponding articles (shoes) of different sizes. Such known display shelves are disadvantageously not suitable for providing simple and quick access to the storage space located behind the display shelf, in particular for the sales staff.

and at the same time to shield the same storage space from the exhibition space in such a way that it is not easily visible to customers standing in front of the presentation shelf.

It is therefore an object of the invention to propose a presentation shelf of the type mentioned at the beginning, which can be used in a simple and effective manner both for presentation purposes and for room division purposes.

To solve the problem, a presentation shelf with the features of claim 1 is proposed, which is characterized in that the presentation wall can be pivoted about a vertical axis. This advantageously ensures that the presentation wall can be safely positioned in an exhibition room for presentation purposes by means of a holding unit and at the same time, a usable space (storage room) located behind it can be quickly accessed for any period of time in a simple manner by means of a suitable pivoting movement of the presentation wall about a vertical axis. A presentation shelf designed in this way can therefore be used in a flexible manner for sales purposes and allows optimal use of a sales room by suitable division of the same into one or more exhibition and storage rooms, which are separated from one another by a corresponding presentation shelf.

Advantageously, the holding unit is designed as a support unit. While the holding unit is a

To ensure correct positioning of the presentation wall that can be pivoted about a vertical axis, a support unit additionally absorbs at least part of the weight of the presentation wall, thus enabling the presentation wall to be pivoted more easily about a vertical axis.

The support unit is advantageously designed as a stationary, vertical column to which at least one presentation wall is pivotably attached by means of one or more joint elements. A presentation wall attached to a stationary, vertical column by means of joint elements can be pivoted about a vertical axis in a particularly easy and user-friendly manner. The column and the presentation wall are designed as independent structural components, which allow a flexible design of a preferred presentation shelf that can be adapted to the corresponding requirements.

Preferably, the joint element is designed as a hinge. Hinges allow a pivoting movement of the presentation wall attached to the support unit around a vertical axis in a particularly reliable and simple manner.

According to a preferred embodiment, the support unit has two vertical columns spaced apart from each other, to which a stationary functional element is arranged between them and a pivoting presentation wall is attached to the longitudinal sides facing away from each other.

The provision of several, relatively small presentation walls instead of a single, relatively large presentation wall advantageously enables the respective presentation wall to be pivoted more easily about a vertical axis and at the same time creates greater flexibility with regard to the design of the presentation shelf and its functional properties.

The functional element is advantageously designed as a mirror. A functional element designed as a mirror allows the presentation shelf to be divided into several presentation areas in a way that is user-friendly for the customer.

Preferably, the presentation wall has a roller on its lower edge. A roller provided on the lower edge of the presentation wall ensures that the presentation wall can be easily and safely pivoted around a vertical axis in a structurally simple manner.

According to a preferred embodiment, the support unit has a horizontal base plate on which the vertical column is attached. The horizontal base plate ensures that the presentation shelf stands securely, in particular during a pivoting movement of the presentation wall about a vertical axis.

It is advantageous to provide a function switch that can be activated by swiveling the presentation wall. This function switch can be

For example, it could be a light switch for a storage room with storage shelves located behind the presentation wall.

Advantageously, an operable drive unit is provided for pivoting the presentation wall. Such a drive unit can be designed, for example, as a remote-controlled electric drive motor for operating the roller.

Further advantageous embodiments of the invention emerge from the description.

The invention is explained in more detail below in an exemplary embodiment with reference to an associated drawing. The figure shows a schematic, perspective front view of a presentation shelf according to the invention.

The figure shows a display shelf, which is generally designated 10. The display shelf 10 has two display walls 12, which are spaced apart from one another and are each attached to a centrally arranged holding unit 11 in such a way that they can be pivoted about a corresponding vertical axis 13 according to the double arrow 21. The display walls 12 are each provided with a plurality of receiving means 14 for displaying an article 15, in this case shoes. The holding unit 11 is designed as a support unit 11 in the form of two spaced apart, stationary, vertical columns 16, which are attached to a horizontal base plate 20.

A presentation wall 12 is pivotally attached to each of the longitudinal sides of the vertical columns 16 pointing in the direction of the arrow, while a functional element 18 designed as a mirror is preferably not pivotally attached between the two vertical columns 16 on longitudinal sides facing one another. The holding unit 11 designed as a support unit thus essentially consists of two vertical columns 16, an intermediate functional element 18 (mirror) and a horizontal base plate 20 on which the two vertical columns 16 are attached. The respective presentation wall 12 is attached to the associated column 16 by means of an upper and lower joint element 17, preferably designed as a hinge. These joint elements 17 enable the respective presentation wall 12 to be pivoted about an associated vertical axis 13 according to the double arrow 21. Each of the two presentation walls 12 has a roller 20 on its lower edge 19 that is as far apart as possible in relation to the associated vertical column 16. When the corresponding presentation wall 12 is pivoted, the roller 20 rolls on the floor (not shown) of the exhibition room and serves to easily and safely pivot the corresponding presentation wall 12 according to the double arrow 21.

According to a preferred embodiment not shown, a function switch is provided which can be triggered by pivoting the presentation wall 12. Such a function switch can be installed, for example, in the area of one of the associated joint elements 17 in the form of a light switch.

by means of which, when a corresponding presentation wall 12 is pivoted, a lighting device (not shown) in a space located behind the presentation shelf 10 is switched on or off. Furthermore, the respective roller 20 can be provided with a drive unit (not shown), for example designed as a remote-controlled electric drive motor. This enables the respective presentation wall 12 to be pivoted in a motor-driven and thus particularly easy manner by operating a corresponding switch. Such a drive unit is particularly advantageous when the presentation wall 12 has a relatively large weight.

Metallic materials (steel), wood and/or plastic materials can be used as construction materials for producing the presentation shelf 10.

Claims (10)

1. Presentation shelf with a presentation wall attached to a holding unit, which has at least one receiving means for displaying an article, in particular shoes, characterized in that the presentation wall ( 12 ) can be pivoted about a vertical axis ( 13 ). 2. Presentation shelf according to claim 1, characterized in that the holding unit ( 11 ) is designed as a support unit ( 11 ). 3. Presentation shelf according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the support unit ( 11 ) is designed as a stationary, vertical column ( 16 ) to which at least one presentation wall ( 12 ) is pivotally attached by means of one or more joint elements ( 17 ). 4. Presentation shelf according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the joint element ( 17 ) is designed as a hinge. 5. Presentation shelf according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the support unit ( 11 ) has two vertical columns ( 16 ) spaced apart from one another, to which an intermediately arranged stationary functional element ( 18 ) and on whose longitudinal sides facing away from one another a presentation wall ( 12 ) are pivotally attached. 6. Presentation shelf according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the functional element ( 18 ) is designed as a mirror. 7. Presentation shelf according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the presentation wall ( 12 ) has a roller ( 20 ) on its lower edge ( 19 ). 8. Presentation shelf according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the support unit ( 11 ) has a horizontal base plate ( 20 ) on which the vertical column ( 16 ) is attached. 9. Presentation shelf according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that a function switch which can be triggered by pivoting the presentation wall ( 12 ) is provided. 10. Presentation shelf according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that an actuatable drive unit is provided for pivoting the presentation wall ( 12 ).
