Description

The present invention relates to a vessel for cooking food and an accessory for such a vessel.

Vessels for cooking food are well known in the form of pots, pans, roasting pans, etc. They are usually made of steel, sometimes also of earthenware or heat-resistant glass. They do not have their own heat source and are placed on or in a stove to cook the food placed in them. The vessels usually also have a lid that is detachably attached to the vessel. The lid is usually made of the same material as the vessel itself, but can also be made of a different material, particularly glass.

They also have a handle that is either permanently or detachably attached to the vessel.

Also well known are so-called timers. They are manufactured in various (constructive) forms. They can be used to set shorter times - usually up to 60 minutes - to the minute. When the set time has elapsed, they emit an alarm tone once or several times. They are used in particular when preparing food to ensure that the food is cooked for the correct length of time. This ensures that the food is already cooked and not overcooked or burnt.

When preparing meals on a daily basis - especially in private households - there is usually either no timer or only one available. This is

preparing several foods at the same time (e.g. dumplings in one pot, red cabbage in another pot, the Christmas goose in the oven and a couple of eggs for Russian eggs in the evening) is insufficient. Even if several timers are available, it is often difficult to assign the timers to the respective container or the food prepared in it.

The object of the present invention is to create a possibility in which a sufficient number of timers are always available and in particular the assignment of the timers to the respective container or the food prepared in it is easy and clear.

The task is solved by the fact that the timer is connected to the container or to an accessory part that is detachably connected to the container (e.g. lid or container handle).

The container has a container handle. The lid also has a lid handle. The timer can be located on the container or lid handle, for example. The timer can also be located at another location on the container or lid.

The timer can be detachably connected to the container. In this case, the timer is preferably connected to the container magnetically. However, it is also possible for the container or the accessory to have a holder that serves to hold the timer and is firmly connected to the container or the accessory.

The time that can be recorded using the timer can in principle be chosen freely within a reasonable range of, for example, 30 to 180 minutes. However, it is usually limited to 60 minutes.

According to Figure 1, a vessel 1 for cooking food is designed purely as an example as a pot. A lid 2 is assigned to the vessel 1. The pot 1 is designed as a saucepan. It therefore has a handle 3 that serves as the vessel handle. The lid 2 has a lid handle 4. The vessel handle 3 is detachably connected to the vessel, as indicated by an arrow A.

According to Figure 2, a timer 5 is arranged on the stem 3, i.e. on the vessel handle 3. The timer 5 is thus connected to the vessel 1. Using the timer 5, shorter times of up to 60 minutes can be set to the minute. When a set time has elapsed, the timer 5 emits an alarm tone one or more times.

According to Figure 3, the lid handle 4 is designed as a centrally arranged round handle. According to Figure 3, the timer 5 can be formed by the centrally arranged round handle 4. In this case, the timer 5 is arranged on the lid handle 4 and thus in particular on the lid 2. Alternatively, the timer 5 could also be arranged at another location on the lid 2, as indicated by dashed lines in Figure 3.

The timer 5 can be detachably connected to the vessel 1, e.g. via a magnetic holder. The detachable connection of the timer 5 is particularly advantageous for cleaning the pot 1 or the lid 2 or the vessel handle 3.

However, it can also be firmly connected, in particular to the lid 2 or the container handle 3. It is also possible to design or cover the timer 5 in a watertight manner and then to connect it inseparably to the container 1, the container handle 3, the lid 2 or the lid handle 4. In particular, if the lid handle 4 is designed as a centrally arranged round handle and the timer 5 is arranged in the lid handle 4, the round handle can cover the timer 5 in a watertight manner.

1. Vessel for cooking food, characterized in that a timer ( 5 ) is connected to the vessel ( 1 ). 2. Vessel according to claim 1, characterized in that it has at least one vessel handle ( 3 ) and that the timer ( 5 ) is arranged on the vessel handle ( 3 ). 3. Vessel according to claim 1, characterized in that it has a lid ( 2 ) and that the timer ( 5 ) is arranged on the lid ( 2 ). 4. Vessel according to claim 3, characterized in that the lid ( 2 ) has at least one lid handle ( 4 ) and that the timer ( 5 ) is arranged on the lid handle ( 4 ). 5. Vessel according to one of the above claims, characterized in that the timer ( 5 ) is detachably connected to the vessel ( 1 ). 6. Vessel according to claim 5, characterized in that the timer ( 5 ) is magnetically connected to the vessel ( 1 ). 7. Vessel according to one of the above claims, characterized in that the time that can be recorded by means of the short-timer ( 5 ) is limited to 60 minutes. 3. Accessory for a vessel ( 1 ) for cooking food, in particular a lid ( 2 ) or vessel handle ( 3 ), characterized in that a timer ( 5 ) is connected to the accessory ( 2 , 3 ). 9. Accessory according to claim 8, characterized in that it has at least one handle ( 4 ) and that the timer ( 5 ) is arranged on the handle ( 4 ). 10. Accessory according to claim 8 or 9, characterized in that the stopwatch ( 5 ) is detachably connected to the accessory ( 2 , 3 ). 11. Accessory according to claim 10, characterized in that the timer ( 5 ) is magnetically connected to the accessory ( 2 , 3 ). 12. Accessory according to one of claims 8 to 11, characterized in that the time that can be recorded by means of the timer ( 5 ) is limited to 60 minutes.
