The invention relates to a border for a net made of spun paper cords and wire wrapped with paper (loom) for furniture or frames according to the preamble of claim 1.

There is furniture (e.g. chairs) made of loom, i.e. a woven mesh made of spun paper cords and wire wrapped in paper, where the mesh (loom) is fixed to the furniture frame with nails, staples or adhesives. The fastening edges are covered with braided bands made of the same material.

The edging on the fastening edges is always 0 visible on this type of furniture, especially on free-form surfaces, and can therefore be easily damaged. It is also necessary to conceal the connection between the loom and the furniture frame. In addition, the design options are very limited.

This object is achieved in conjunction with the features of the preamble of claim 1 in that the enclosure consists of an aluminum profile which has at least one elongated groove which is provided with teeth on at least one of the groove legs and wherein the groove legs can be pressed together in such a way that the mesh is clamped between the groove legs.

By using an aluminum profile with a groove that is shaped like a shark's mouth and can be compressed using a tool, a stable connection can be achieved on the one hand and the edge of the mesh is safely covered and thus protected from damage on the other. The wall thicknesses must be dimensioned so that the groove legs can be pressed together without the aluminum profile breaking open at the edge associated with the groove base 0. On the other hand, the wall thickness is such that the permanent deformation prevents the groove from gaping during use. The mesh can be loaded with a tensile force of 100 kg for several weeks 5 without it being pulled out of the frame.

Further advantages result from the features of the subclaims, whereby recesses such as holes in the aluminum profiles are particularly advantageous, as they allow other elements such as additional furniture frames, furniture legs or other additional parts to be attached. This also makes it possible to use the frame itself as a frame for the furniture or frame and to design the furniture in a variety of ways.

Figure 1 shows a border according to the invention, which consists of an aluminum profile 1 with a cross-section of approximately 5 triangular shape and rounded corners, in which the sides have an arcuate shape. The aluminum profile 1 could of course also have an approximately oval cross-section. Starting from one of the corners of the aluminum profile 1, there is a groove 4, the two groove legs 5, 6 of which are provided with teeth 1 ₁ " . The groove legs 5, 6 are slightly spread so that a mesh 2 can easily be pushed between them. The groove base 10 has a round or oval extension in cross-section. The groove is so deep that the mesh 2 is accommodated by approximately 3 0 mm. The material thickness of the groove leg 5 is such that the groove leg 5 extends in the direction of the groove leg 6.

The secure holding is achieved on the one hand by the course of the groove legs 5, 6 and the teeth 7, 1' . The groove leg 5 has a convex curvature 8 on which the teeth 7 are arranged. The groove leg 6 has a concave recess 9 complementary to the curvature 8, in which teeth 7' are also arranged. If the groove legs 5, 6 are pressed together, e.g. by a tool, the braid 2 is securely held between them. Curvature 8 and complementary concave recess 9 can also be designed with the sides swapped.

In the aluminum profile 1 there is a recess 11 into which connecting elements, in particular plug-in elements 12, can be inserted in order to connect further aluminum profiles 1 or other furniture elements (Fig. 4). The recess 11 can be designed as a bore or, as part of an extrusion process, can have any other cross-sectional shape such that the connecting elements are held non-rotatably.

Fig. 3 shows a further embodiment of an aluminum profile 1 according to the invention, in which two grooves 4, 4' are opposite each other at an angle of, for example, 180°, so that, for example, in a sofa, two fields can be connected with mesh.

In Fig. 5, a further embodiment of an aluminum profile 1 according to the invention is shown. In this profile, the teeth 7, "" are arranged on two approximately parallel groove legs 5, 6, whereby only two or three teeth 7, 7' are present, which are offset from one another in such a way that when pressed together,

Groove legs 5, 6 interlock in the area of the tooth tips. To ensure that the wall thicknesses of the aluminum profile 1 are approximately the same everywhere, a further recess 13 is arranged in the aluminum profile 1.

Fig. 6 shows an example of how legs 14 can be inserted into the holes 11 in a seat element, e.g. a chair. To do this, the aluminum profile 1 is milled out on the underside in the area of the recess 11 so that the legs 14 can be inserted into the recesses 11 from the outside with angled portions 15.

Claims (12)

An edging for connecting a braid made of spun paper cords and wire wrapped in paper (loom) to furniture frames or frame parts, characterized in that the edging consists of an aluminum profile ( 1 ) which has at least one elongated groove ( 4 ) which is provided with teeth ( 7 , 7 ') on at least one of the groove legs ( 5 , 6 ), and wherein the groove legs ( 5 , 6 ) can be pressed together in such a way that the braid ( 2 ) is clamped between the groove legs ( 5 , 6 ). 2. Enclosure according to claim 1, characterized in that both groove legs ( 5 , 6 ) are provided with teeth ( 7 , 7 '). 3. Enclosure according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the teeth 7 , 7 ' are arranged offset in such a way that their tips engage with one another when the groove legs 5 , 6 are pressed together. 4. Enclosure according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that one of the groove legs ( 5 ) has a convex curvature ( 8 ) and the other groove leg ( 6 ) has a concave recess ( 9 ) corresponding to the course of the convex curvature ( 8 ). 5. Enclosure according to one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in that the groove base ( 10 ) is formed by an extension which is circular or oval in cross section. 6. Enclosure according to one of claims 1 to 5, characterized in that two opposing grooves ( 4 , 4 ') are formed on the aluminum profile ( 1 ). 7. Enclosure according to one of claims 1 to 6, characterized in that the outer contour of the aluminum profile ( 1 ) is approximately triangular in cross-section with rounded corners and the sides of the triangle are preferably arched. 8. Frame according to one of claims 1 to 7, characterized in that in the aluminum profile ( 1 ) there is additionally a recess ( 11 ) into which a plug element ( 12 ) can be inserted for connection to other (furniture) elements. 9. Enclosure according to one of claims 1 to 8, characterized in that a further recess ( 13 ) is present in the aluminum profile ( 1 ). 10. Enclosure according to one of claims 1 to 9, characterized in that the aluminum profile ( 1 ) itself is designed as a furniture frame or rack part. 11. Enclosure according to one of claims 1 to 10, characterized in that the aluminum profile ( 1 ) can be inserted into a furniture frame or a frame part. 12.
