KAISERLICHES PATENTAMT. Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Vorrichtung zum Auftragen von Klebstoff, die aus einem zu einem Handgriff ausgebildeten Behälter mit Auftragwalze besteht und bei der die Ausflußöffnung des Behälters in an sich bekannter Weise durch ein nach außen hervorstehendes Ventil verschlossen gehalten wird. Das Neue der Erfindung kennzeichnet sich wie folgt: Wird die Walze der Vorrichtung ίο auf einen Gegenstand aufgedrückt, dann öffnet sich das Ventil durch Verschiebung der Walze, und diese wird mit Klebstoff überzogen; hört der Druck auf, dann schließt sich das Ventil selbsttätig, und der auf der Walze befindliche Klebstoff kann auf Gegenstände beliebiger Gestalt und Stellung aufgetragen werden. Durch diese Anordnung soll der Ausfluß von Klebstoff genau geregelt werden. In der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand beispielsweise in einer Ausführungsform in Ansicht und teilweise im Schnitt dargestellt. Der Behälter α ist an dem einen Ende durch einen Deckel b verschlossen; an dem anderen Ende ist der Boden a1 eingeschraubt, an dem die Ventilvorrichtung, bestehend aus den Bohrungen s, dem Ventilkegel c, der Druckfeder/ und dem Führungswinkel c1, angebracht ist. Ferner sind an dem Boden die Stangen d befestigt, die Führungen r und r1 besitzen, in denen die Hebevorrichtung n1 und η für das Ventil, sowie die Walzenachse verschiebbar gelagert sind. Beim Gebrauch wird die Walze w, die aus Metall, Gummi oder anderem Stoffe bestehen kann, auf den Gegenstand gestellt und der Behälter a abwärts gedrückt, wodurch sich die Walzenachse in ihren Führungen hebt; dadurch wird die auf der Achse angeordnete Hebevorrichtung η und n1 und durch diese der Ventilkegel c hochgehoben, so daß die Ventilöffnungen s frei werden und Klebstoff durch diese auf die Walze w geleitet wird. Bei Auf- x hebung des Druckes drückt die Feder f den Ventilkegel c auf seinen Sitz zurück.
