Description

  • Aus geschäumtem Xunststoff, irsbesòndere Polystyrol bestehende Palette mit erhöhter Bruchfestigkeit Aus geschäumtem Polystyrol hergestellte Paletten sind bekannt. Diese Paletten bestehen aus einem rechteckigen Körper entsprechender Stärke, der auf der Unterseite FUße aufweist. An der längsseite der Palette entspricht der Abstand der Puß'e voneinander der Breite der Zinken der Gabeln von Gabelstablern.
  • Aufgrund des geringen Gewichtes sind solche Paletten zum Transport von Massengütern an sich hervorragend geeignet, weil sie das zu transportierende Gewicht kaum erhöhen. Sie weisen jedoch den Nachteil auf, daß sie beim Verbiegen sehr leicht brechen und weiter noch, daß beim AuSnehmen mittels des Gabelstablers die FEße sehr leicht abbrechen. Polyatyrolkörper haben einen sehr hohen Reibungswiderstand. Währt beim Aufnehmen der Gabelstabler gegen die Seitenfläche der Palette und hält hier nicht sofort an, wird der Palettenkörper verschoben. Die innere Festigkeit der Füße ist geringer als der Reibungswiderstand der FUße auf dem Boden. Die PUBe brechen ab.
  • Aufgabe vorliegender Erfindung ist es, eine Palette aus geschäumtem Kunststoff, insbesondere Polystyrol zu schaffen, deren 3ruchfeßtigkeit gegenüber den vorbekannten Paletten aus Polystyrol erheblich höher ist.
  • Diese Aufgabe wird im wesentlichen durch eine Palette gelöst, die aus einem Körper aus geschäumtem Polystyrol nit Füßen auf der Unterseite und einem, zumin, dest auf der Unterseite angeordneten, die Füße mit umschließenden Belag aus reißfestem Material besteht.
  • Der Belag aus zerreißfestem Material soll dabei einen geringeren Reibungswiderstand aufweisen als das Polystyrol selbst.
  • Fährt der Gabelstabler beim Aufnehmen tatsächlich gegen die Seitenfläche, kann die Palette viel leichter verschoben werden, ohne daß die FUße abscheren. Sollte tatsächlich dennoch der Polystyrolkirper eines Fußes abscheren oder abbrechen, wird er durch den Belag gehalten und fällt nicht ab. Die Gefahr, daß die Palette wegen eines abgebrochenen Fußes durchbiegt, ist also nicht hr gegeben und die Gefahr, daß der Palettenkörper bricht, erheblich verringert.
  • Der Belag kann aus beliebigem reißfestem Material bestehen. Als zweckääßig erwies sich ein Belag aus aufgespritzten, aufgestrichenen oder sonstwie aufgebrachten Kunststoff.
  • Hervorragend geeignet fiir die Unterseite der Palette erwies sich ein Belag, der aus einer tefgezogenen Kunststoff-Folie besteht und die Palette von der Unterseite einschließlich der Füße völlig abdeckt.
  • Paletten aus geschäunten Polystyrol dienen insbesondern als Einwegpaletten. Vorsieht man die Palette nit die Belag aus einer Netallfolie, ist es ohne veitores möglich, die Palette auch als Mehrwegpalette zu benutzen.
  • Weitere Merkmale der Erfindung sind in der Beschreibung der Figuren und in den Unteransprüchen dargestellt, wobei bemerkt wird, daß alle Einzelmarkmale und alle Kombinationen von Einzelmerkmalen erfindungewesentlich sind.
  • In den Figuren 1 und 2 ist die Erfindung an einer Ausfrungsforn beispielsweise dargestellt, ohne auf diese eine AusUhrungsform beschränkt zu sein.
  • Fig. 1 zeigt eine Palette in perspektivischer Ansicht, Fig. 2 einen Schnitt durch eine erfindungsgemäße Palette nach der Linie AA in Fig. 1.
  • In den Figuren ist 1 ein rechteckiger Körper entsprechender Stärke aus geschäumtem Polystyrol. 2 sind die FÛße. Der Abstand dieser Füße an der Längsseite entspricht der Breite der Zinken der Gabel von Gabelstablern. Die Unterseite der Palette, einschließlich der Füße, ist nit einem Belag 3 aus einer tiefgezogenen Kunststoff-Folie aus Polyvinylchlorid bedeckt und die Oberseite nit einem Belag 4 ans einer ebenen Kunststoff-Folie aus Polyvinylchlorid.
  • An den Rindern sind die beiden Beläge 3 und 4 miteinander verschweißt.
  • Der Belag kann auch aus einer Schrumpffolie hergestellt werden. Zu diesen Zwecke wird die ungesclurrpv fte Folie um die Palette gelegt und dann in einem Schrumpfofen geschrumpft.

Claims (9)

  1. Patent ansprüche:
    9 Aus geschäumtem Kunststoff, insbesondere Polystyrol, bestehende Palette mit erhöhter Bruchfestigkeit zum Transport von Gütern usw., gekennzeichnet durch einen Körper (1) aus geschäumen Polystyrol mit Füßen (2) auf der Unterseite und einen, zumindest auf der Unterseite angeordneten, die Fü+ße (2) mit umschließenden Belag (3) aus reißfestem Material.
  2. 2.) Palette nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß auch die Oberseite des Körpers (1) mit einem Belag (4) aus zerreißfestem Material versehen ist.
  3. 3.) Palette nach Anspruch 1 und/oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Belag (3) auf der Unterseite des Körpers (1) aus einer tiefgezogenen Kunststoff-Folie besteht.
  4. 4.) Palette nach Anspruch 2 und/oder 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der Belag (4) auf der Oberseite des Körpers (1) eine Kunststoff-Folie ist.
  5. 5.) Palette nach Anspruch 3 und 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Beläge (3,4) an den Rindern des Körpers (1) miteinander verschweißt sind.
  6. 6.) Palette nach Anspruch 1 und/oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Beläge (3,4) aus aufgespritztem, aufgestrichenen oder sonstwie aufgebrachten Kunststoff bestehen.
  7. 7.) Palette nach eine oder mehreren der Ansprüche 3 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Beläge (3,4) aus Polyvinylchlorid bestehen.
  8. 8.) Palette nach Anspruch 1 und/oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Beläge (3,4) Metallfolien, insbesondere Aluminiumfolien sind.
  9. 9.) Palette nach Anspruch 1 und/oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Beläge (3,4) aus Schrumpffolie bestehen.
