Die Neuerung betrifft einen Sicherheitsgürtel, und zwar einen Gürtel, der insbesondere dazu bestimmt ist, die Ortung von durch Lawinen verschütteten Personen mit Hilfe von Magnetsonden zu ermöglichen.The innovation relates to a safety belt, specifically a belt that is particularly intended to locate to enable people buried by avalanches with the help of magnetic probes.

Gerade in letzter Zeit sind Unfälle durch Lawinen mehrfach vorgekommen, und es hat sich erwiesen, daß das Auffinden der verschütteten Personen außerordentlich schwierig ist. Zwar ist es bekannt, mit Hilfe magnetischer Sonden zu suchen, die auf von den Verschütteten getragene ferromagnetische Metallteile ansprechen. B. am Rücken der Person angebracht ist und diese so verschüttet wird, daß sie auf dem Rücken liegt. Auf diese Weise wird es mit Sicherheit möglich, verschüttete Personen unabhängig von ihrer Lage durch ein entsprechendes Suchgerät zur Ortung von Lawinenverschütteten aufzufinden.
