Die Erfindung bezieht sieh auf ein Bruststück, insbesondere für binaurale Stethoskope, bei welchem über einen Trichter eine Membran gespannt ist, so daß der Trichter zugleich als Membrandose dient. B. einen Weichgummiring, aufgelegt ist. Besonders hat sieh eine Ausführung bewährt, bei welcher der Haltering für die Membran mit seinem Flansch den Rand der Membran nur über einen Teil, z. B. ein Drittel ihrer Auflagefläche auf dem elastischen Ring übergreift.
