Die Polyurethanbeschichtung zur Herstellung von Kunstleder ist üblich und bekannt auf hochflorigen Geweben. Hochflorige Wirkwaren konnten für die Beschichtung bisher nicht eingesetzt werden, da alle Wirkwaren der normalen Legungsarten beim Spannen der Waren ca. Q% Breiten- und Längenschwankungen aufweisen. Um eine gleichmäßige Beschichtung durchführen zu können, muß das zu beschichtende Material jedoch straff ausgespannt werden. Durch eine Speziallegung ist es gelungen eine Wirkware zu schaffen, die nur \% Breiten- und Längenschwankung aufweist. Die speziell hierfür hergestellte Wirkware ist nicht mehr so elastisch, daß eine Beschichtung nicht oder nur mangelhaft gegeben ist, jedoch noch so elastisch, daß die Eigenschaften der Wirkware im Gegensatz zum Gewebe spürbar werden.
