Abstract

Special multimedia cassette (2) is built into desk (1) as carrier for various electronic components or multimedia equipment. Personal computer components e.g. motherboard with CPU, modems and plug-in cards, or hard discs, CD-ROM, DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM, diskette drives etc. are placed in cassette compartment, without being built into cassette or requiring intermediate cabling. Interior of moveable top part of cassette may include a TFT screen, two loudspeakers, video camera and microphone.

An Schreibtischrückseite befinden sich zwei Fächer, die zur Anschlüsse vorbe reitet sind:

Die Leitungen werden über E-Netzteil bzw. Verteiler von Fach (1d) zu externe Schnittstelle zu Fach (1e) geführt.
Am Schnittstelleausgang von Oben werden Telefon-Fax-Scanner und PC-Dru cker in Schreibtischfach (1a) bzw. Auszug (1b) versorgt.
Von Schnittstelleausgang an der rechten Seite werden die Leitungen durch Kas settenrückwand (2,3) anhand entsprechenden Steckverbindungen (2g) an alle Elektroniksegmenten in der Kassette (2) weitergeführt.
Aus der Mitte der Kassettenrückwand (2,3) führt ein flaches mehrpolige Kabel zu beweglichen Kassettenoberteil (2,2) für die Versorgung von darin installier ten TFT-Bildschirm, TV-Kamera, Mikrophon und Lautsprechern.
