Abstract
Description
It is well known that it is harmful to the environment, expensive and often cumbersome Always having to clean window panes, facades, cars and other things.
The invention listed in claim 1 is based on the problem, the ongoing To prevent and prevent pollution of window panes, facades, cars and other things to prevent the constant cleaning of such things.
This problem is solved by the features listed in claim 1.
The advantages achieved with the invention are in particular that things with the coating no longer need to be cleaned as often, that many liquids such as water, sugar solution, honey, water-based paper glue etc. the can no longer wet coated surface but simply slide off it. On Another advantage of the invention is that if such a coating is involved, which was produced with a TiCl4-SiF4-methane mixture / oxygen flame, possibly adhering soot and pollutant particles under the influence of the sun and humidity through the TiO2 contained in the coating can be decomposed photocatalytically.
An advantageous embodiment of the invention is specified in claim 2. A Further development according to claim 2 enables the coating on the carrier material to coordinate and thus achieve improved liability.
An exemplary embodiment is shown below:
Natural gas (methane) with a share of approx. 10% SiF4 (silicon tetraluoride) and oxygen as an oxidizing agent are fed into a forced draft burner so that it burns with a strong flame. Now the flame is directed onto a ceramic or glass plate and swung back and forth on it so that an even, thin coating is created. The coated plate thus obtained is slowly cooled and from then on shows the water-repellent behavior typical of the coating on the coated surface.
If 2-5% TiCl4 vapor is also added to the natural gas in addition to SiF4, the coating also shows the photocatalytic behavior already described.
