Abstract
Bei einem beschichteten Gegenstand mit einer Kennzeichnung an der Oberfläche wird zur Verbesserung, insbesondere zur Erhöhung seiner Korrosionsfestigkeit, vorgeschlagen, daß die Kennzeichnung in einen Teil der feinbearbeiteten Oberfläche eingebracht ist und die so veränderte Oberfläche mit wenigstens einer galvanischen Beschichtung sowohl im Bereich der Kennzeichnung als auch im Bereich der übrigen Oberfläche überzogen wird.In the case of a coated object with a marking on the surface, in order to improve, in particular to increase its corrosion resistance, it is proposed that the marking be introduced into part of the finely machined surface and that the surface modified in this way has at least one galvanic coating both in the area of the marking and is coated in the area of the remaining surface.

Kennzeichnung zu er reichen, wird die Kennzeichnung meist durch Gravieren oder Lasersignieren oder elektrolytrisches Signieren oder auch durch Nadelprägen auf der galvanischen Deck schicht (Endfinish-Oberfläche) durch ein geringfügiges Abtragen aufgebracht. Hierdurch entsteht eine Verringe rung der Dicke der Beschichtung, so daß im unmittelba ren Bereich der Kennzeichnung eine erhebliche Schwä chung gegenüber Korrosionseinflüssen entsteht. Im Anschluß danach wird der Gegenstand in einer galvanischen Anlage mit korrosionsfesten De korschichten überzogen. Hierbei wird zunächst, wenn nö tig, eine Kupferbeschichtung 21 aufgebracht. Im An schluß daran erfolgt eine Nickelbeschichtung 22 und ab schließend eine Chrombeschichtung 23. Alternativ kann auch für die Chrombeschichtung 23 eine Beschichtung mit Palladium, Ruthenium, Gold oder dergleichen vorgesehen werden. Um besonders abriebfeste Oberflächen zu erzie len, kann außerdem zusätzlich noch eine Hartstoffbe schichtung 24 als Deckschicht, vorzugsweise im PVD- Verfahren, auf die galvanisch aufgebrachten Metall schichten angeordnet werden.After shaping, the brass object is ground and polished on its surface.
